CPU roster management beyond year 1 of a franchise

    Hey all,

I started a 30 team control test franchise last night, with trades and waiver claims set to manual, just to see how things went and holy moly going into year 2 the 40 man rosters are a mess and the COU does some weird things (Astros with FOUR Catchers in MLB). Do you franchise vets sit there and fix every team’s situation before advancing to the regular season? Any tips on this?

I fix it all. I put on some good music and fix it all. I’m pretty sure I can do it in my sleep at this point. Price to pay for 30 team control.

Whew. How long does that generally take? Do you do it right before Spring Training ends?

For me it takes about 3 hours, and yeah I set all rosters before advancing to the regular season. Just make sure you set the 40 man and lineups/rotations to manualon the CPU profile before advancing

It can take a long time. Depending on how deep you want to go. If you just want to reorder orders. A few hours.

I would wait until after spring training. When you advance to the regular season the cpu messes with rosters.
