    Looking for feedback from others

As they discussed in a pre-release video SDS introduced bobbled ground balls into the game. I'm seeing more than IRL and I'm trying to figure out what the threshold is. From the limited amount of games I've watched I'm guessing fielding attribute of 60 is the threshold.

In the video they showed outfielders bobbling ground balls but I'm also seeing a rash of it for infielders.

I use manage mode which is the purest way to see how they have programmed the game because there is no user input.

Anybody have any input on this?

Re: Looking for feedback from others

As an example I just finished a 3 game series with Tampa. Jose Martinez had 3 errors in the 3 game series all of them on hits to the outfield which he bobbled and allowed an extra base. IRL in 2019 in 128 games player Jose Martinez had 3 errors for the entire season.

I had 3 bobbled ground balls on the infield in one inning.

I get it they created something new they want everybody to see but they need to tone it down significantly.

Have you tried adjusting the fielding errors slider to compensate?

I rarely adjust sliders. Perhaps they will fix it in a patch. Not sure why the would intentionally sabotage their own game but they have.

          What the hell?

I'm not saying there isn't anything to fix on their end, but you're going to act stubbornly against the idea that they provided a tool for you that adjusting can possibly remedy for yourself? I'd understand if you are an online player and can't adjust that sort of thing, but it sounds like you're playing offline, and can do something about it.

Do me a favor, right now: go to SLIDERS, lower Fielding Errors Infield all the way to 0 (to the left), play three more games, and see if anything changes within that small sample size.

Believe me when I say that I have pleaded for years for this team to work on things such as fielder speed and reaction time, but until they decided to do so (which it seems they have finally done this year), I've lowered Fielder Run Speed and Fielder Reaction to within the 0-2 range for the last half-dozen years. It addressed my needs, and I was good from there.

I reckon they can look harder into what's causing it on their end, but if this is only a "you" problem at this point and you have a potential fix in play, I'd suggest you implore it.

SDS does a wonderful job at getting the default rosters tuned to the largest section of players but there is also a large block whose talents (or lack thereof) dont fit well with default. I've played with default rosters a ton over the years but I've also tweaked them plenty too. while I could enjoy the default sliders if I had to, the game really took on a new and improved life for me once I became apt at finding a slider set to fit my very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. skills that make me a nightmare for pitchers like Yu.

I definitely recommend any one who is even just the slightest bit not perfectly happy w/default sliders to tweak them just the oh so tiniest bit to achieve that perfect happy
