Complete BS...i've made 5 different players, all different positions and no matter what team I'm on they suck. "If" my team happens to be winning the other team no matter if they are good or not will have a 6 or 7 run inning and end up winning.
The game just isn't fun when this happens 90% of the time and your team ends up with 75 wins every season.

What gives? Anyone got any insight?

I have had three RTTS players who played on very poor teams and two of those three teams turned things around. It took 2 or 3 years for them to do it but they did it.

      1) My first RTTS player was a SP drafted by the Pirates but they wanted him to become their closer. I resisted this change, was traded to the Padres who at the time were the worst team in the league. It took three seasons for the Padres to turn things around, but now they are title contenders.

      2) I have a SS drafted by the Giants to not the worst team in the league, but not a very good one. For his first two years with the Giants he was nothing more than a platoon player. But he's now the starting SS and for the first time the team is a playoff contender. Though the Dodgers pose a hurdle in their way to becoming champs.

      3) Finally I have another SS drafted by the Tigers and now in his third season with the team, they are still pretty bad. I thought it might have something to do with the RTTS player's performance, but its not. This RTTS player is having a good season, but his success means little to the team. They seem to be happy being a bad team. I am sure in time this team will get better, but not this year that's for sure.
