I’m thinking the A’s gold jersey will be back since they got updated the Nike logo across the chest. They’re also still in RBI Baseball so they’re definitely in the style guide.

I wish they would get rid of that dang thing altogether, or do what Russell Athletic and Rawlings did, a small logo in the sleeve.

That's a good site for uni junkies.

I'm extremely pleased with the number of throwbacks and selections they made, as well as alternates. Only thing I'd change is eliminating some of the plain turn of the century jerseys (like Orioles all black and Cubs all white) in favor of something from the 60s, 70s or 80s.

The Show 20 Uniforms

Playing a game in Milwaukee and noticed a fan in the stands is wearing the Brewers gold jersey from 2013-2015. It’s interesting because this jersey was never usable in The Show. All current jerseys weren’t included until The Show 16 or 17 (I forget the exact version).

SDS still had to create this but just made a lower res version. I’m assuming these have been in past versions of The Show but I just noticed it now.

Hoping someone will be able to clarify something for me in terms of uniforms. Is there a way to change the default uniforms for a team in franchise (without just making a custom team before franchise with the uniforms I want)? For example: Could I make the default Marlins uniforms their 90s throwbacks, or the Diamondbacks default their Purple/Green get up from the early 2000s? Or is this something that needs changed prior to each game?

My question extends to stadiums, too. Example: is there a way in franchise I can make the Yankees play in the old Yankee Stadium or the Mets to play in Shea by default?

No, you’d have to manually choose the uni or stadium before each game. That would be a cool idea to have though

For The Show 21, if you had these 3 choices which would you pick:

Option 1. All Spring Training jerseys (all 30 teams + the teams that wear more than one like the Yankees or Tigers) and 5 - 7 new throwbacks.

OR

Option 2. 40 new throwbacks and no ST jerseys.

I would pick Option 1 personally. I do love new throwbacks but I really want ST jerseys in since the BP jerseys have no NOB (except for 3 teams).

Option 3. 30 new throwbacks with like 10 or so ST jerseys from teams that don’t have a dark top that resembles ST jerseys (NYY, STL, etc) and ones that are different from current alt dark top (TEX, TB, etc)

I’d choose option 1 for selfish purposes, since The Mets already have pretty much every uniform I’d want to see. I can live without the 1987 or the black New York jerseys for now

Question for Blue Jays fans. Do the Jays always wear the white panel bats with the white uniforms, or do they alternate back and forth between the solid blue and white panel? I know they seem to always wear the solid blue with the blue jerseys.

They wear both the solid blue and white panel hat with the white jersey and blue jersey at home.

I’ve been messing around with the uniform creator and it got me thinking. I wish we had the ability to edit any uniform in franchise mode. This would be a welcomed addition especially if they made it to where we could add sleeve patches and hat patches. That way we could create postseason and World Series patches on our uniforms. Also, for those that make it deep into franchise it would be cool to make some new ones every now and then. Especially for teams like Miami, who seem to change their uniform and logo every 4-5 years.

Twins wearing the Powder Blue Throwbacks at random now. It was just supposed to be for Sunday's only but they wore them last Wednesday-Thursday.


I think at this point SDS won't add in any more throwbacks sadly but the Brewers need their yellow pannel batting helmets and the California Angels 1993-96 Away Caps/Batting helmets need Navy bills.

Rangers are wearing their Powder Blue unis but with their all red cap and using red sleeves.

It would be cool if in the next version of The Show if we could choose sleeve + accessories color in addition to; hats, jersey, and pants.

Also looked at video of the California Angels uniforms from MLB 19 the Show and last year the "Angels in the Outfield" 1993-96 Away Caps and batting helmets had the NAVY bill. In 20 SDS made them Red to match the Home Caps/Helmets which is wrong.
