Hitting is TRASH

I thought they fixed hitting this year? How come im still getting "okay" contact 90% of the time while having the PCI RIGHT on the ball and getting "good" swing timing. RIDICULOUS. Anyone else having these issues. In addition there is NO power for me or the cpu. Anyone else feel this?

Hmm. Interesting. I’m using HOF directional hitting. Power at 4 and solid hits at 3, because I’ve had way too much power. I can’t really speak on zone hitting though. I never use it.

6 games is a huge sample size. time to bump the power slider up 1 more?

Are you using zone or directional?

I don’t understand people’s obsession with the feedback system. Just turn it off. You’ll develop your own sense of whether you were late or early or whatnot in due time and you can stop obsessing about whether you feel you’re getting the “correct” result based on what the feedback tells you. The only tangible feedback is the actual result of the contact, which I think is SPOT ON like 90% of the time, with the other 10% reserved for the RNG nature of the game. Who gives a rip if it says “late” or “good” or whatever.

Yaaaaa I have never found myself worrying about these too much. There are times when I think Im late and it says early. Plus it's not like if I'm early on Pitch 1, I try to be cognizant of that for Pitch 2 because Pitch 2 will likely be an entirely different speed/pitch

Because it's the perfect scapegoat mechanism. A ton of people don't like to admit that they aren't as good as they think they are. Instead of practicing and getting better at the game, they'd rather complain about it after a tiny sample size of games (i.e. under 80 games). The swing feedback mechanism gives them something to show as "evidence" as to why it isn't their fault.

I'd always urge those who are having trouble with something to either adjust sliders or drop a level(s) down until you find what you're comfortable with and are getting the results you want. Remember baseball is about failure most of the time.
You're just not very good at the game right now. Keep grinding, learning, adjusting instead of posting something like this
