So far I’ve only had on-screen stat issues and it’s annoying, but at least the stats in general are fine so far.

I had a game where a pitcher coming in had an ERA of 0 and a whip of 0.6 with 6 IP in spring. He got knocked around, early exit, but when I checked his stats after the game (fully back in franchise, not in the game anymore) his stats remained 0 ERA 0.6 WHIP 6 IP.

That's a real problem.

What makes it more frustrating is how this was missed. And does anybody know if they are even working with the pandemic going on? Sadly, this might not be fixed until June or July if that is the case.

Well somebodys been working...they definitly keep working on making sure the new DD content/cards get out promptly..sorry had to take a shot its been a while.. But in all honesty we dont even know how many people from the team are even working on any game fixes. the Talk was alawys they only had 1 person who worked on franchise..so hopefully hes not "off" from work right now.

Just started Franchise today and quickly noticed all the issues already explained in this thread. It makes me wonder if the devs even bothered testing/playing Franchise mode because I saw most of these issues in my first franchise game played.

In Road to the Show, my R1 button to look at the ball doesnt work, and we also dont have a button to look at our base coach now that you need to press L1 to slide.

L1 is definitely a design thing (a very dumb one), while R1 is probably a bug but im not too sure tbh.

Or you know, that type of DD stuff has probably been prepped for a while so pushing it live would be a relatively simple process.

There are also some real-world issues going on that might be making it a little tougher to get people together in the studio to work on a patch. I know a big thing is to play the victim for franchise stuff, but let's have some perspective here.

Yea that makes franchise mode unplayable for me. I don’t get it, for people who have started their franchise, are you just ignoring this? How can you play a baseball sim where the stats aren’t even right? Outside of the actual gameplay that’s literally the most important thing.

Stats are one of the most important things in baseball...please fix it.

Also when i want to start with montreal expos in franchise mode...when i choose a stadium, all the original logos should be replaced with the expos logo. don't know why no one thought about this, it kills immersion to play with the expos and see in the stadium mariners logo...

I'm ignoring the messed up OSD stats.

I have yet to encounter any stat earned in the game not being counted or messed up. Played all 30 games of Spring Training and checked the stats during/after each game after seeing people post the issue, and nothing in my franchise was messed up in that regard.

I miss single season mode with 30 team control just so that I have the option of playing CPU vs CPU games that my team is not involved in. All I really care about is who wins, who loses, who makes the playoffs and yes I do care about trying to generate some what realistic stats. But no I am forced into playing a franchise mode where every day I am flooded with messages telling me that so and so is not performing well at on a given AA and have been sent down to A ball, or my favorite (not) receiving messages that a given team is experiencing negative cash flow and that I better consider raising hot dog prices. Okay I do receive messages about negative cash flows, but I added the part about the hot dog sales.

Oh and is anyone noticing (you likely won't if you don't play CPU vs CPU games) but at least while I am still in March the road team is wearing their respective spring training or batting practice uniforms for regular season games. I am about to finish the games on March 31st, so I am hoping that once April rolls around the game will resort back to using proper road jerseys or their respective 3rd jerseys. But I suspect this won't be the case, plus I would like to add that this is not a carry over issue from MLBTS19. My franchise I am playing was created with MLBTS20. Don't get me wrong, the baseball game play on the field has never been better in MLBTS20. But I have to question have much regression testing SDS does every year and if they do regression test, they clearly ignore many bugs that exist in the game this year than were never problems in past releases.

In real life most years the Ivy doesn't turn green and fill in till mid-April. Guess you know that already since you're from Chi.

The bug where stats stay the same after several games I've experienced in DD with Maddux. Didn't know it occurred in Franchise too as I haven't seen it yet.

Otherwise...everything you guys have already said. This mode is so broken and the game feels like it was slapped together by toddlers this year but I'm getting sooooo tired of CoD and the other games I've been playing for months.
