So i know its baseball and i should enjoy it no matter what, but is anyone else finding it hard to get invested in this years game with no real baseball going on. Now don't get me wrong this Years game is great but without real baseball its been hard for me to get into. I normaly do franchise and DD but without an MLB season im not able to see those next hot top guys that i want on my franchise team and since i dont spend money in DD aquire cards that will increase in level. Iv tried to play more DD this year but keep getting matched up with teams who have every top diamond card and im out there with my 2 basic diamond cards,gold, and sliver. Its just frustrating and im wondering if others are feeling the pain.

It took a bit, but I finally settled on going full evil-empire Jeter, and moved the Marlins to Montreal.

Man, for me It has been the opposite... during this current situation that we are all living, I’m working a lot and I’m super busy but I can’t get the game out of my head and every chance I get I play 4 to 5 hours...[emoji1][emoji1]Comment

It’s actually more enjoyable this year because I’m not restarting constantly for roster updates and roster changes. With no real season to mimic I can kind of just let it play out without worrying what’s going on in real life. If they’d just get the stupid HR thing fixed this would be the best game to date.Comment

Yep same here, I was more hyped for this MLB season than I've been for a long time. I don't know if it was because of the Astros scandal or what but I was ready.
Even though the hitting seems to change for the worse with every patch I'm still having a fun time with DD and the occasional franchise game.Texas Rangers/Saints/LSU/Tottenham Hotspur

I have a text based baseball game I've been playing for the past 6 or 7 years that I spend considerably more time on than The Show, always have.
The Show has been something I've played in the past when I was tired of the other 2 or 3 games I play. Franchise is all I play, but it's been pretty much the same thing since the Stone Age. I preferred season mode till they took that out without letting us know before we paid for the game and franchise, to me, has been a small step down because of the regression stuff that begins pretty much from the first week of the season when everyone has regressed. I usually get bored and stop playing it by July or August anyway. So the excitement to purchase just wasn't there this year. I actually didn't buy this year's version but I hang out at my friend's place while he's at work and play it there. Then I get back home and play either my text game or RDR2.Comment

I’m treating the game as the season.
What if going to be interesting is next years game, it’s more then likely we will have no baseball this year. If players will be allowed in the game due to licensing , it’s why guys like tommy hunter Cecil were not in the gameComment

I have contemplated picking an American League team and a National League and playing those two games everyday of the season, along with my other franchise just have a semblance of “real” baseball. Yes I’m currently behind but it would t take me long to get current if I did this.
