    Franchise Mode Question: Renewable Contracts

Younger players are tagged as “Contract Renewable,” and I supposedly have until Feb. 15 to renew their contracts. However, they end up as free agents long before that. Do I have to tender those players contracts as well, even if they’re not eligible for arbitration?

Yes. The game makes this clear if you read the "Date of Importance/Significance" on the starred day. If you don't offer a contract, you're saying you don't want someone back.

Offering a contact to renewable players is sooooo tedious. [emoji30]

God yes. I do 30 team control and I used to dread the offseason cuz that. Last year I started just setting all teams on auto for that part and then right back to manual before the date and just getting whoever the computer deemed unnecessary
