Can't Put Chris Davis in Lineup?

Ultimately probably a good thing LOL, but he's on my MLB roster, and when I go to insert him into the lineup he's nowhere to be found? Just a stupid bug or am I completely missing something?

Check the waiver wire. He's probably in there for some reason.

Nope. Just a glitch. Whatever I'm not starting my entire franchise over because of Chris Davis, but now the Orioles don't have a roster spot available

There’s a way to get him to show up in the lineup screen if you are using 30 team control. Just trade him to another team then reverse it by trading Davis back to Baltimore for whoever you traded him for.

That’s what I had to do. Take a look at Pablo Sandoval on the Giants, depending what roster you used there might be the same glitch with him too. I had to do it with both of them in mine.

you're better off just eating the nearly $70 mill left on his contract and pay someone else the minimum who can actually contribute at some point in the future. too bad I cant, because I'm sentimental about all my Orioles. but this is probably the last year I keep him, unless he spikes back up to over 65 Overall in Show 21.



FWIW, I put 'Cash' Davis as a backup LF'er this year and let Mancini man first.

Someone had posted trade him and Urias to Giants for Longoria and Sandoval and than trade em back and it works

For me I just put him in Single A and than simmed Spring Training and he was on MLB team again

The work around is simple and can be completed from the main menu Roster.

Assign Davis to A ball and remove him from the 40 man. Then assign him right back to the MLB.

The roster was saved with him as “W”. Once you put him in A ball and back up he will be available in Play Now and Other modes. Same can be said for Sandoval and others on Waivers.

Which roster are you using? I heard the first version of Ridin's Roster had a glitch with Chris Davis, but they fixed it.

That must be why. I just manually injured him, and now he's gonna sit this season out. I think everyone is better off this way

In the one Orioles franchise I'm doing I moved Mancini to 1B.
