Best Team to Start a Franchise with in The Show 20
I think it has to be the Blue Jays. They are not a contender yet, but they aren't nearly as far off as some of the bottom feeders. Not the biggest budget like New York or L.A. but again they are not far off. There's tough competition in the AL East but the Jays can grab a wild card spot if they play well.

j/k- making the baby jays into what some of their dad's became could be some of the funnest baseball around. also, the O's got a couple of their own ex-big leaguers sons in the system albeit they are long shot project (Ripken & Palmeiro)

I started a Franchise with the Blue Jays and I’m 6-0. Swept the Red Sox and will be going for a sweep of the Reds later tonight. So maybe we’ll be contending sooner than I thought. Haha. But you’re right. I’m not a Jays fan but they are a fun team to play with. Playing with Armor’s sliders and it’s been a blast.Comment

Plus, you know, Canada.
Queue patriotic flag waving video full of Canada geese, Moose, maple syrup, and Mounties.
I love my country. And Canada loves the Jays. I think it's in the constitution.

Where'd you hear this nonsense. I'll have to drive my dogsled down, roll up my flannel sleeves and cross-check the hoser who is spreading these lies.

personally, I could never play as any LA sports team (okay maybe the old LA Raiders) but the Dodgers are the best team (& also the best team money can buy) so with no WS titles since Ronny Raygun was the best thing going in DC, they should probably get more love than they've received. I mean, the Bums aren't exactly the Evil Empire. and speaking of DC, it's almost impossible to repeat nowadays so the Nats should get some votes too IMO.OSFM23 - Building Better Baseball - OSFM23
