I kind of a agree with you and this is coming form a pure clean screen guy for the past 5 years. I think they thought they were doing us a favor. Luckily I’ve played this game so much that I know exactly where to throw and run without those windows.

A lot of us are really hot on this right now......this is not needed. Clean screen has been turned on it’s ear here with the last two updates.

So if we don't download the patch, will we eventually have to to get the crowd audio drops that have been fixed? That's the only thing I'm interested in with this patch.

Yes it’s fixed
but not perfect

I think someone already notice it
In the show theme
Both when pitching and batting
Last pitch info (pitch type/ velocity)
Don’t show up on the score bug
When Strikeout or Walk situation
I sent bug reports

Some good news on 1.06


If you, like me like to play without the pitch info white dot displayed......the pitch type and pitch velocity is now back on the score bug!!

So it was fixed.

The issues with the base runner interface design decision, is they tied it to the auto fielding toggle “INSTEAD” of the throw decision toggle.

I totally get it if a person is playing full auto fielding and auto throw.....you don’t really need to see that runner interface for the CPU.

BUT THOSE that play with auto fielding and MANUAL throwing (where we like to make all the throws) NEED THAT INTERFACE DISPLAYED so we can make throwing decisions!!!!

SO they hacked it to the wrong toggle.

This can be fixed. And it needs to be ASAP.

Did they fix the roster issue in franchise at least? Where the rosters wouldn’t stick..

Report it report it report it. (file the big report and also include the blue circle under the fielders in auto fielding that was introduced on 1.05 for those that auto field).

The more we report it the quicker it will be reversed. It is infuriating.

I find it interesting that you're always going on about how great the game is and how great the SDS team is, and I've seen many times you discount people who may have issues with some of the knee jerk design decisions or tell them they should calm down,etc but now when they do something stupid like this that affects YOU,all of a sudden you're up in arms about it! Don't get me wrong, I agree with you, it's another bone head move on SDS's part, I think very little of this design team at this point, I think they don't care about ANYONE outside of Diamond Dynasty and milking people to buy cards, those days of listening to the sim people, those days are LONG gone. The moment they introduced DD, I knew it was over for all of us.


So basically I'm saying, I understand your frustration with this issue, but you come off as a massive hypocrite.

In-Game:

* Fixed a rare occurrence where deep hit balls could bounce under and through the OF wall, resulting in a ground rule double. We also fixed one occurrence where the ball could pass through the HR wall on the fly.

* Fixed a specific situation where the baserunner would go into base standing, when he needed to be urgently sliding.

Luckily I hadn't experienced these when playing, and glad now that I won't since they have been fixed.

Just set the 40 man rosters in the roster file before starting franchise. That'll keep teams from auto-populating the 40-man; using a roster where only the 26 MLB guys are on the 40-man roster is a bad idea.

Then the CPU will set the lineups/rotations appropriately based on the talent and ratings of the players on-hand but they shouldn't add/remove players from the 40 man.

WTF was the point in removing the base runner window on the screen?!? Now we basically have to play blind. The absurd amount of home runs had almost killed this game for me, this stupid and unnecessary move was the final nail in the coffin. Terrible job SDS. Very disappointed in you on this one. But, I’m not a DD player so I doubt they care.

I really hope in one of the upcoming patches they add team records back to the TODAY'S GAMES screen. Stinks not being able to see team records when looking at pitching matchups prior to day's games and records after day's games have played out.

Yep...and I took the stinky bait......and that is on me. He is on ignore now.

My emotions have a lot more to do with what is going on around the country, the extreme stress I am working under in my profession, and the fact my all time favorite game....just a fantastic baseball game guys is going through some really rough times here for a lot of us who have been playing it this way for 15 plus years.

I am going to dial it all down.

I started jogging again 3 weeks ago with my son.....as he is staying in great shape while his baseball season is totally been on hiatus....and I am feeling great stress relief. But that mile run I am doing every evening lasts about 10 minutes......LOL.

Anyway....I am confident things will get cleaned up.

I noticed that too when I was looking at the calendar of games each day.
