Franchise Injuries
How have you guys been finding Injuries in Franchise so far? I have mine turned way down because doing that made them somewhat realistic in the past. But now I have none happening.

Re: Franchise Injuries
I have seen a few CPU injuries so far while playing. It’s more obvious when it’s their SP receiving a hard liner that fractured his hand like Kershaw in my last game ( and after his first pitch only).
But with CPU you don’t have ( or always have) that little text pop-pup at the bottom to tell you what happened. But you’ll find after the game or during a game if you check the boxscore and see some early, unusual replacement.
I’m playing my franchise with Injury at 9 ( 8 is a good compromise as well). I was using Armor’s technic to switch from 6 for sim games and 10 when playing but my little goldfish memory was forgetting to switch it back and forthI then played all 162 games last with slider at 9 and was satisfied with it.

Re: Franchise Injuries
And you know, it’s a game and you can always undo it. If you find it unfair to loose a key player for 6 months , you can always Un-injure him or reduce it to something like a few weeks only.
I suggest to create a test franchise file where all teams are CPU. Then sim it for a month at a time and check around the league to see what happens. You’ll see a few long term but a lot of short terms as well.Comment

Re: Franchise Injuries
Give it a try and see how you like. In real life, there’s a lot of 10 days injuries and not too many players play 162 games in a season.

Re: Franchise Injuries
yes, but you might have to change the injury type to something less severe if the original injury's quickest time back is still too long for you
turn injuries from auto to manual, reduce or remove injury completely, then turn injuries back to auto from manualOSFM23 - Building Better Baseball - OSFM23

Re: Franchise Injuries
I set up manual injuries the best I could to mimmick real life, but there aren't any options between 70-180 days I think it is. That needs to change in the future.YouTube: MLB The Show 21 Atlanta Braves FranchiseComment
