Not sure what this had to do with your first post, but this is just as nonsensical.

All I said was hitting after the latest patch is broken and frequently results in outcomes that make no sense (which it does, good/okay is a literal epidemic right now). What part of that was nonsensical?

This is a literal epidemic? Ok. At least you're consistent.

I've explained what I said pretty well on two occasions now, if you can't get it at this point then I think you're beyond helping. Not really worth my time to explain it a third time.

            Yup, I'm the issue here.

What's your and CPU solid hits slider, contact slider and timing slider at to?

We go round and round and round. I'm not sure people would really post their real levels/sliders as they play the game, but it should be required so that an educated suggestion can be given, otherwise nothing is accomplished.

Re: This game is a parade of endless at-em balls.

What the OP is talking about CAN happen with the game, IF you are not playing in a challenging enough environment. If you're able to hit line drive after line drive (whether they are caught or not...the outcome is immaterial as it will regress to the mean), your game environment is way too easy for you.

That environment is not just about the difficulty setting either. It's about finding a place where the FB pitch speed slider has you struggling to pull high velo FBs and then setting the OS pitch speed slider below that (SDS tightened them up too much this year when the slider values are equal). Bumping up CPU Pitch Control a notch helps as well. Using a more challenging hitting interface (like directional or analog), turning off all visual aids and going with a more challenging camera angle are other areas that can help as well.

Once you're being properly challenged, your hit variety should improve dramatically and you'll have more meaningful success.
Play the games you love, not the games you want to love.

I agree there is more hot shots, but its more realistic. Also i find the better the player the more hot shots which is great.
The revamped hitting is excellent, if youre not enjoying it its as simple as turning up the difficulty or playing with the sliders, its not rocket science.

I could use more at-em balls. I currently lead the league in grounding into double plays through 40 games with 50! Next team only has 33!
