Rebranding questions including budget

My plan is to rebrand the marlins to the Expos. I don't know what stadium to use. I tried using Globe life which isn't bad but it is hard to get past some of the Texas branding.

What stadiums have you used for Montreal? If you have used a minor league stadium, is the attendance affecting your budget if it is a smaller stadium? If I turn off budgets, will the attendance even matter then?

Old Miami doesn’t have logos on them so you should be fine with them

So if I use Old Miami and then I decide that for 1 game in May I will play at another stadium like Wrigley, will the expos branding be in place instead of the Cubs branding? I know it won't change everything with the cubs branding.

Since you can choose the stadium before every game, will the branding of the Expos be in every stadium when I choose that stadium to play in?

I am planning on checking all of this stuff when I get time, been working a lot and hanging out with family so not a lot of time with the Show. I didn't know if anyone else found this stuff out yet.

There is zero branding of your created team in any of the stadiums that you choose.

I have my logo in foul territory in front of the dugouts at the Old Miami park. Not sure if every team gets that or if it's because I rebranded the Marlins.

I played at Globe Life Park the other day, you do get foul like logos in a lot of stadiums, but they also had my team name on the digital banners all around the stadium. Pretty cool.

Does the commentating mention San Francisco during the games? One of the games I played at Globe Life they mention "Arlington".

I played at Globe Life Park the other day, you do get foul like logos in a lot of stadiums, but they also had my team name on the digital banners all around the stadium. Pretty cool.

I saw that also at Globe life. The only thing that kills it for me at Globe life is the big T outside the park, the couple T's around the outfield fences and they mention "Arlington" every once in awhile. I am wondering if I play at Yankee stadium if it will have some Expo branding as well?

I ran a test with a Yankees franchise I started every game for a month and recorded the official attendance, one in Yankess stadium and another franchise in a minor league stadium. There was no difference in terms of money coming in to the franchise.

Either attendance isn't a factor or it is tied to % of capacity - which is also listed in the game log - and not turnstile.

The money you will have relates more to the team you relocate than the ballpark you choose because you retain the team's budget.

There is zero branding of your created team in any of the stadiums that you choose.

That's not entirely true. I used mostly the minor league stadiums for my rebranded league (all 30 teams).

The Dallas team has their logo in foul territory. They are in Crystal Falls stadium. I haven't played games in all other parks to check, but potentially there are others where it picks up team branding.

I tried a couple of the minor league stadiums and didn't see any team branding for the Expos. The team branding does move around on the Major league stadiums except the permanent branding of the original team of that stadium. Like San Diego has the big SD behind home plate. That doesn't change with any other team using that stadium.

I will have to check out the historical stadiums and see if any branding is on them.

I am 21 games into my franchise regular season where I have re-branded the Washington Nationals into the Montreal Expos where my home stadium is the Old Miami stadium and here are three observations.

1) The Old Miami stadium will show the main Expos logo in the "on deck" section between the plate and the dugouts and this is the only obvious place in the stadium where any logos will appear. Now the Old Miami stadium is a bit of dump, but so is the Olympic Stadium (the stadium the Expos used to play at), so as far as I am concerned it is a good MLB stadium to use if you don't want to see any other team's logos.

2) The announcers and public address announcers in the game will never call you the "Montreal Expos". Most of the time they call you the "Expos" but sometimes they so refer you to as "Montreal". But never both names. Plus I am assuming this would apply to any other city and nickname you use, not just when you re-brand a team to be the Expos.

3) Heidi Watney will never appear in your home games. She only appears when you are playing a road game and when she does appear she only talks about the home team, your opposition.
