1. How long does someone need to play before they should be eligible to be mentioned for an All-Time Team? For instance would you consider Ronald Acuna, Jr for the Braves or Pete Alonso for the Mets? How many years do they need to play before they are considered? I'm thinking somewhere around 3 full seasons or around 400 games.
2. How long does a player need to play for a team before they are eligible to be on a certain team? If someone was a solid utility guy for Team A for 10 years, but a 3X All-Star for Team B in 4 years. Who would you put him with?
3. I'm using Baseball-Reference's WAR, Glenn Hubbard's career WAR is higher than Marcus Giles (19.2-16.7), but their WAR with the Braves is much closer with Hubbard have a slight advantage (16.9-16.7). However, Hubbard had over 500 more career AB's and his AVG/WAR per year is almost a full point lower than Giles. Would you go with Hubbard's longer career or Giles who had several solid seasons, but flamed out quickly?
4. Or do you play someone like Ron Gant or Jeff Blauser who both played between 100-150 games at 2B because they had higher WAR's? Is there a certain number of games you'd need to play to be considered at that position?
