From the new video, no new throwbacks. Looks like the only one added is the 1997-2002 Mariners home vests.

I didn’t read the whole thread, so sorry if this was covered. But is there any word on whether teams like the Yankees, Tigers, Phillies etc. that only have a white and gray jersey will have their colored jerseys that they wear in spring training? The ones without numbers on the backs are horrible, and I hate wearing the home white and road gray during ST.

There was a video about a week ago with the Giants playing in those awful BP jerseys with no names or numbers on the back. So sadly no Spring Training uniforms will be in, just the bland sets they've been using the last 4 years as BP uniforms.


Also for the 1980 Royals they still don't have names on the back of their uniforms and it's unlikely the 1980 Phillies Home/Away won't either and the show still has the 1980 Phills in the current Red when it should be Maroon.


As mentioned earlier the only new throwback uniform added was the Mariners 1997-2001 home vests.

Mets just announced that the Black Jerseys are coming back for a limited number of games this year. I don’t know if it’s given full/official alternate status or if it’s a special event.

The black jerseys luckily are already in The Show

Sadly though the Show only has the 2000 Home and Home Alternate (The Black One) but not the 2000 road. Also for the 2000 Mets Home and Alternates the Show still has them in Blue socks when they should be Black. Also the New York "Black Alternate" Road uniform debuted in 1999.



So it looks like only 1 new throwback uniform was added the 1997-2002 Mariners home vests.


I did notice on the Kirby Pucket legends reveal they did have the proper "M" batting helmet.

I'd be happy if they added alternate uniform slots for the custom teams this year. So at least you could add or create alt/st uniforms for teams like the Tigers.

Saw another gameplay video on YouTube and the 1980 Royals are still missing names on the back of their uniforms. It looks like the 1980 Phillies will also be missing names on the back and their uniforms will be current Phillie Red and not the correct 1980 Maroon.

I try not to fall into the “it’d be so easy to do” camp, but I really just don’t understand how there are blatant uniform errors like this. It’s takes a minimal amount of time to find images of what the 80s Royals uniform looked like and see that the names need added. I just don’t get it.

Exactly. The Royals uniforms in the game are pre 1982 where the Powder Blue road said "Kansas City". Before The Show 19 the uniforms were correct and had names on the back. Since 19 there have been no names on the back.


Also they had the 1980 Phillies uniforms correct until 19 as well. Since 19 the 1980 Phillies home/away are also missing names on the back and also their caps/pinstripes are current Phillie Red when they should be old school Maroon.

Based on what? They normally don't announce what throwbacks have been added.

That is true but usually photos/gameplay footage leaks of a new throwback uniform and some users get the game days before launch and they usually upload all the uniforms in the game.

I can guarantee that the 1997 Mariners uniform isn't the only one added to the game.

And we're still 17 days from even early access, so how soon were you wanting someone to post a uniform video?

Yes it's impossible now. Still looking at gameplay on the livestreams for any leaks. Haven't seen any yet. Seeing the 97 Mariners vests does give me hope that more will be added on all platforms.
