No the "94 Expos" have been in since 2019. The only set missing from the 1990's Expos are the blue alternates and it sure would be nice to get them in 21 PS4 version.

Wow, I don't know how I missed that. I swear I went looking for them when 20 launched and didn't see them. This is great to know.

That version of the California Angels uniform is already in the game.

No it is not.

The game has the 70s Angels unis with the font that Boston uses, not the 80s unis with block font.

How about a compromise for the Brewers like SDS did for the 90's Astros!


The 1994 Astros home/away uniforms are in. The 94-96 alternate is not. However SDS added the Astros 97-99 alternate which corresponds with the 1994-1999 set.


SDS added the 1994-1996 Milwaukee Brewers uniforms but not the alternate uniform. SDS can do something similar to the Astros and add the Brewers 1997-1999 Alternate uniform. It's identical to the 1994-1996 alternate minus the "MB and Bats" logo under the "Brewers" script.

Would love to see baggy uniforms finally come to The Show on Next Gen, for current uniforms, but especially for older throwback uniforms. I would love it if you chose a 1930s uniform, for instance, and all players automatically had knee-high baggy pants.

Would also love to see Negro League uniforms make their way into the show. Not exactly sure how this would be done as they wouldn't always be throwbacks of particular teams, though teams like the Royals would obviously have the KC Monarchs uniforms available.

How about adding the Padres 1998 alternate! The 98 Home/Away is in but the blue alternate isn't. In fact San Diego wore the Navy Alternate the most during their 1998 Pennant winning season.

Now that we're two months away from 21 being out, what is the word on any new throwback uniforms being added to the PS4 version.

I'd love if each team could have one or two custom uniform slots where we could design unis like in DD and upload them to the Vault, etc. Might not fly with the league, but would be super cool. That way you could create new uniforms in Franchise.


They sort of have this now, but you can only do it with a total rebrand of the team I think, and can only do it once and only for the team you're controlling.

They'll need cloth meshes that have some actual physics for that to work well.

I think it’s only a matter of time until we get this feature. I just don’t know if it’ll be this year or in five years.

One idea could be to get rid of the godawful batting practice uniforms and replace them with more throwback uniforms.

No new unis for the 2021 season have been announced yet, I wonder if they’ll be any new ones this year since the world has been crazy and teams were probably not submitting New Jerseys.

Maybe this’ll mean more throwbacks for The Show

Fingers crossed they add more for the PS4. Surely they must know the PS4 still has a ton of life left in it, more so than the PS3 back in 2014.
