I couldn't hit him, but I was able to tire him out and work his pitch count. If I'm remembering right he had no hit me through 4, but he had about 4 walks to that point. He then gave up his first hit on a looping line drive by Folty. He proceeded to walk Acuna and Albies to load the bases with two outs on the 5th. Each of those walks was around 10 or more pitches. He then got behind Freeman and had a pitch catch too much plate and have up a grand slam. So he had only given up 2 hits, but the walks hurt him. His final like was 5.0 IP 2 H 6 BB and 4 ER. Once he left the game I blew the game open, but unless he walked me I couldn't do anything til that blooper by Folty.

I can always seem to destroy Verlander also. Mike Morin crushes me though.

If I'm going up against a top tier pitcher I always try to get the pitch count up early. I want to be hitting off the bullpen by the 5th or 6th inning. It doesn't always work out that way though. There are times when I use that strategy and the pitchers confidence gets maxed out and I can't even foul off stuff to work the count.

It may have just been a glitch in the game but there was one game where the pitchers confidence was maxed out but his energy was zero. He was still throwing heat and hitting corners. I think he ended up throwing over 110 pitches that game. I don't remember who it was, but I never saw that kind of thing happen again so I think it was just a glitch at the time.

Not a particular player but a knuckle ball pitcher. Even when I know its coming I can't hit it.

Yep mine as well. The high slider combined with the high fastball drive me nuts due to his release point. My brain just can't process him releasing that wide and sweeping it across the entire zone like that.

Exactly the release point combined with the pitch quality.

Anyone who throws a good cutter. I almost always have my PCI in the initial location, and then the late movement completely throws me off.

For some reason this year it’s Reynaldo Lopez from the white Sox. Couldn’t tell you why, I just can’t time him up

That's the exact type of game I had against him. Pitch count 75+ in 5 innings but he was shutting me down.
