    Training Pitcher Velocity

I noticed when training pitchers is control, velocity, movement -- only control ever increases. Is it worthwhile to train in this category? Is it a very slow improvement to the velocity/movement?

Pitcher velocity doesn't gain 5 mph, but they can pick up a mile or two from one season to the next...

    Re: Training Pitcher Velocity

Just set everyone to bullpen coach session(per/9). I can't say for sure that velocity/break don't increase at all, but it will never be of use really. You *may* get +1 velocity, but it takes 3-4 points to go up 1 mph. The per/9 boosts(if any, it's not confirmed that training actually works) will add to your pitcher's effectiveness more than "stuff" will.
