I've had a few gripes with the Presentation on this game, mainly not seeing batter walk up stats. However, I recently played a game without Quick Counts for the first time in a while and the presentation was like night and day. Not only was I seeing batter walk up stats but little facts were popping up at the bottom like how a player was aquired. There was absolutely none of this with Quick Counts on even with Presentation set to broadcast.

Do you have it always on? I see all kinds of stuff with quick counts on.I've had a few gripes with the Presentation on this game, mainly not seeing batter walk up stats. I switch it on before each game. It's usually OFF and I switch it to ON on he screen where you pick the package and weather. I should have also clarified that this was for the MLB The Show package. The MLB Network has bee fine. But with Quick Counts out of my starting lineup I would MAYBE only see 3 batters stats as they walk up to the plate. The rest of the time through it was more consistent. But try a game without it on and you'll see what I mean. The presentation will be a lot more in depth.Comment

Help me out here, bro. So what you’re saying is if you choose the MLB THE SHOW instead of NETWORK turn QCs OFF and you’ll see more stats, etc?I switch it on before each game. What kind of stuff are you seeing? Like the OP, I play with quick counts and see walk-up stats every 3 or 4 batters and no pop us about how they were acquired, etc...

Re: Presentation takes a huge hit when using Quick Counts
I’m really not clear on what he’s saying, but I see the batter walk ups, different camera angles pre pitch as well as stats with QC on. I asked him for clarification because I’m not sure I understand what he’s saying. I’ve never seen that pop up either. I was wondering if it’s exclusive to the mlb the show option with QCs off.Last edited by KnightTemplar; 04-20-2020, 10:19 AM.Comment

Re: Presentation takes a huge hit when using Quick Counts
Ah ok. What I understood is that the Show theme is lacking presentation elements on Quick Counts that are available when not using quick counts.
For example:
- Batter walkup with stats (similar to the frequency of the MLB Network Theme) show up every 4th or 5th batter with QC on but show up more frequently (maybe always?) with QC off
- Information about the player (i.e. when they were drafted or from whom they were traded) pops with QC off but not with QC on
I haven't yet tried with QC off but I can confirm that I am not seeing batter walk ups for every batter as I do with the MLB Network theme and I have never seen anything other than season stats show up in the scorebug in the bottom right corner. Perhaps OP can clarify.

Re: Presentation takes a huge hit when using Quick Counts
This is correct. I was always wondering why the presentation was so much better watching streaming games like the players league. I tried different variables and Quick Counts seems to be what's limiting what shows up. You don't even have to play a full game to notice. Play a game with QC and when the first batter of the game walks up you don't see his stats. Play a game with QC off and you see the first batters stats. I also never saw things like draft position and explaining how a person was aquired with QC on either.Ah ok.
