Player edits, progression, and regression glitch.

I know a few years ago there used to be a problem that existed where when and if you edited a player mid-season they lose their progression for the remainder of the season. Meaning, all the +'s and -'s that were shown on the player's attributes throughout the year would go away after any edit was made including equipment, stances, jersey numbers, etc. Does anyone know if this is still the case or has this been addressed?

If I'm remembering correctly the problem was as follows (example):

John Doe has a +7 on his CON v R, he's improved from a 60 to a 67. When you edit anything on him he loses the +7 visual that appears above his attribute on his player, "card," but keeps the 67 rating. However, for the remainder of the season, no progression will take place.

I believe it's still like that and I don't think SDS sees it as a glitch...my guess is that it's supposed to deter you from editing players once you begin a franchise.

EDIT: I hope it gets changed too. I just never viewed it as a 'glitch.'

If that's the case they need to separate attribute edits from equipment edits. No reason we shouldn't be able to edit jersey numbers, equipment, etc.

Armor just checked it in his stream. Mike Lamb had -1's in 4 categories. He edited some equipment and all of the -'s remained. Maybe it's been addressed.

I don't usually edit players during the season but wasn't it just the numbers they went up and down by already disappearing? For example, a pitcher starts the season with 80 K/9. A few months in they have +3 making it 83. You edit something and the +3 showing they improved goes away but they are still at 83. I never noticed the progression going back to the 80 after the edit or players not progressing/regressing after that point.

From my understanding this "glitch" only happened after a set date in franchise. Like for example May 1st.
            MLB: Texas Rangers
            Soccer: FC Dallas, Fleetwood Town
            NCAA: SMU, UTA
            NFL: Dallas Cowboys
            NHL: Dallas Stars
            NBA: Dallas Mavericks

Hmm, well, I have some edits I’ve been wanting to make so I’m going to look at them when I get home. I’m in June now on my franchise.

I just tried it on a whim and the player I edited now showed a +63 on the bunting that I raised 60 points.

That means it kept his original +3 and added my artificial +60. This was after the trade deadline.

                  Glitch does not exist anymore.
