    FPS on The Show 20

What’s the consensus on the FPS this year? Seems good overall but cutscenes (after a out at 1st or what not) there’s dips even on faster.......is there any improvements that can be made on the user side to improve it? Tia

No, not really. It's better than last year for sure, especially in the outfield. The couple spring training games I played I raved about it, but certain stadiums w the crowd involvement are pretty poor. There should be a setting to reduce the background activity as that's obviously a major issue.

Go play in a spring training game vs. Citi field if you want to see an awful contrast. It's inexcusable at this point. PS5 better blow my socks off is all I can say.

I’ve noticed that game times at dusk struggle more with FPS, the later it gets it seems to improve and day games are even better yet

I think there's some magical formula like:
certain time of day + certain stadium + certain crowd activity + faster setting + 1080p resolution on ps4 + hdr on/off = solid 60 fps. still working on some of the variables trying to figure it out

side note...maybe just me, but i played the yankees at their home stadium (i play as the reds) and it seemed like there were way less jaggies around the lines and such and was very interesting to see as there are many jaggies at GABP...just commenting on that fact that certain stadiums are different

The reality is they need to let off on other things to make the game run smoothly at all times. Why even put a game out that struggles.....it is the same game every year. I am super sensitive to visual disturbances. Ruins it for me.

Favorite game ever when it runs smoothly....lol
