    Power since patch

Any notice less power since the last patch? I rarely go a game without at least one HR, usually 2 or 3. Since the last patch i haven't hit a ball past an outfielder let alone a hr. It's been 4 games now for me, balls I normally clobber have been pop flys. Anyone else seeing this or is it just they way it is?

I have noticed this. I wouldn’t call it a pattern yet personally, but squared up balls aren’t doing as much damage as they were, say, two weeks ago.

100%, my HR have gone down which is a good thing, but the CPU offence is non existent again like previous MLB the Show games

Plays exactly the same as it did pre-patch for me, which is fine, I've got my sliders dialed in.

          Same here BK

Hitting hasn't changed since the patch. Played Future's Game last night and the two teams combined for 5 homeruns.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Mind me asking how your sliders are set?

I've nerfed Power, Timing and Solid Hits for both the CPU and myself. I've also increased Pitching Stamina, Consistency and Control slightly for both the CPU and myself, along with some changes to pitch speed, etc. I can upload my latest sliders to the vault if you'd like, when I'm back in front of my PS4. That would make it easier to to look at.

I’m seeing too many double plays. Not really related to the patch but too many. How many are u seeing, that u hit into and the cpu hitting into ?

I'm not seeing more than normal I think I average 2-3 a game total. That said I think DP's have always been a tad high in this series.

I have no idea but I’d welcome less power. Ha.

I don’t think offense has been messed with in any patch. That’s the thing about this game, you go through slumps where you can’t get a hit, and you go through spells where you kill everything pitched to you. I started my season hot, I hit something like 13 home runs my first week of the season. Then I went through a few games where I couldn’t get one out of the park, and couldn’t score more than 2 runs a game. That’s baseball, and this game mimics that almost perfectly. Chances are you’re just going through a dry spell. I’m sure it’ll pick pick back up for you.

Yup. And then if you start mashing after you change sliders (because you think the gameplay was patched), you don't know whether it's because you're now on one of those natural "upswings" or if it happened because you changed the sliders. Then you adjust down, and possibly go right back to not hitting anything again. Rinse and repeat.

Slider hell in a nutshell. Impossible to have to fun with the game because you perpetually think the gameplay isn't "right". Been there. Not a good place to be.
