I find I can still hit home runs, perhaps still too many with the Yankees, but the CPUs offence has dried up significantly.

      Re: Power since patch

I’ve played about 2 in game weeks since the last patch. Power seems no different than before. What I do think has happened though, is they’ve tinkered with the outfield play, and we’re more or less where we were with previous editions of the game where you can’t get anything past the outfielders. Before it seemed like a lot of soft hits would fall because of the new fielding changes. But, no we’re back at square 1 where the outfielders get to anything that isn’t an absolute rocket. I’m back to seeing less hits from contact hitters, just like past versions of the game.

Count me in for the power has been reduced crowed. The ball feels flat off the bat now. No zip at all, hitting mostly singles, the odd double. This is definitely not playing like it did opening day.

          Hello guys,

I just wanted to chime in and give my thoughts.

Power has been reduced, sure your still going to hit the occasional HR.

To fix the current state of the gm back what you were using just use your sliders you were using before but put timing to 6.

I'm using my same exact sliders and gave no issues hitting homeruns, but definitely can tell there not as much offense like there was before and I was using timing at 2.

SDS did this midway thru last years game and the timing slider is all you need to adjust to play with your usual sliders.

I'm playing on All-star. I had a 4HR game since patch 1.10. Culberson hit an oppo HR off the contact swing.

Unfortunately the CPU has had 2 or 3 HR game as well. My gap-to-gap power still going as well. But I'm using sliders but i haven't tweaked them in 2yrs.

I’m using ALL user hitting sliders at 4. Cpu consistency 7. Cpu strike frequency at 4. I have no issues with power. Playing on HOF.

It's been 4 games now for me, balls I normally clobber have been pop flys. Anyone else seeing this or is it just they way it is?
I have a number of RTTS positional players and pitchers and yes I am not hitting that many big flies these days. But I also play Manage Only Mode (MoM) franchise games as well as play tons of CPU vs CPU franchise games where most CPU slider settings are set to the default value of 5 and I am seeing tons and tons of games where the ball is flying out of the park unlike I have ever seen before. Now Mike Trout is a monster in the real world, but last night my MoM team played against the Angels and Mr Trout performed like he was in a video game (hey wait a sec it was a video game ) where Mike had 7 plate appearances in a blow out 12-5 game where he went 5 for 6 hitting 2 HRs and throw in a BB. But he wasn't the only Angel who's bat came alive. Nuts ... ... and remember this is the CPU game play.
