Simmed pitch counts

Is there any possible workaround for the pitch count issue I’m having? When I play my franchise, in an effort to speed things up I play the first inning then sim 2-5 and pick up in the 6th. That gives me at least one inning with my starter and I get to do all the bullpen management unless my starter gets pulled early. The problem is the pitch counts in the simmed innings are extremely low, it’s rare to ever have someone over 70 pitches after five innings and I’m not very efficient with my pitches in the innings I play, it’s usually 15-20 pitches per inning. I find myself pulling guys after 80 pitches just to make sure everyone in the bullpen gets work otherwise I’d be getting 7 plus out of every starter
