Couple of Questions on Franchise Mode: Budget and Unlockable Sponsorships
1. How does the budgeting work? All I notice is I’ve got the same bank balance of $5 million. How do I tell where I stand in terms of budget? The only consequence seems to be that I might not be able to afford certain coaches or players in trades.

Re: Couple of Questions on Franchise Mode: Budget and Unlockable Sponsorships
1) During the regular season, at least for a period of time, there is an option to VIEW BUDGET and that will give you, your overall total budget for the year. If that option is no longer available, go to the BUDGET tab to see your weekly cash flow and multiply that by 26 to get a rough estimate of your overall budget.
2) You assign sponsorships to replay screen, batter walkup, or score ticker at the bottom of the screen. Each sponsorship has a designated amount of money given for accomplishing the "task" associated with it. For example, you may have one that gives you $10,000 for every stolen base, or $25,000 for every win, etc....I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Re: Couple of Questions on Franchise Mode: Budget and Unlockable Sponsorships
What is the benefit of using your credits to buy "Budget money" in the game? I don't play Diamond Dynasty, so I can just use those points for my franchise, but it's unclear to me what it does.
Does it give you more cap-space in Free Agency and Arbitration? Is it just beneficial for coache/scouts? If so that'd be a major benefit.Comment

Yep. You can buy extra cash to sign free agents or spend however you need toComment

I know I’m older than most around here, and I don’t want to sound like the “Back in my day” guy, but that’s ridiculous.
These micro transactions are just getting sillier.Comment

You can always turn budgets off then it won’t matter.

Why is it unnecessary? If you want extra money without spending real money they still give you a free option.

You can pay to have a bigger budget or you can just turn budgets off where you can have whatever budget you want.

I think what mwjr is saying is, he wants to play with budgets on, but to have an option to add money to a franchise is pretty ridiculous. I mean playing with sponsors off is probably what I am going to do when I start my chise, but I kinda agree, having a currency in the game to but franchise money is a stretch. After not posting here since I guess 2014, I found that my signature had an old slider set for FIFA 15... super awkward...Comment
