In my experience, there were too many hard-hit balls at the default levels. This led to too many home runs.

I put Timing at 0 and upped Pitch Control and Pitch Consistency to 10 - pitchers were leaving too many balls over the middle of the plate at default. Through a handful of exhibition games and two franchise games, I'm finding more balanced gameplay now. And I actually dropped down from HOF to All-Star.

Offline? It's just you. The patches have done NOTHING to hitting or pitching all year for offline modes outside of DD.

I'd be interested in knowing how the game engine can be adjusted for just 1 aspect of a game.

For reference I've hit 163 homeruns thru 131 games in franchise.

Default legend with zone hitting

Granted I do use the Yankees which have tons of pop, but I've seen too many home runs all year. I'm hesitant to touch sliders. I adjusted cpu power and hum contact this year. I do not want to get slideritis.

Hey there is a way to get legend plus and lock it in. Go choose dynamic difficulty and start on HOF change your sliders so that dynamic difficulty is super sensitive. Play a few execution games, u be the Allstar or legend team vs any aa team. Once u hit legend plus u lock it in adjusting the dynamic difficulty slider all the way to the left. I’ve done this and have seen less HR but haven’t had a large enough sample size

I’m the Yankees also and at default legend I had 17 hr in like 6 games no joke
