    Player Training

When you are playing in franchise and set your individual player trainings how long before you see player improvement in stats because I have yet to see any... Also hot and cold streaks are there any benefits or are they really minor??? Anybody know the answers to these things because I would really like to figure this out or find out if it is just a waste of time. Thanks to anybody who knows the answers to to this stuff

Nobody knows exactly how/if training works, but your best bet is to set it and forget it. I put all pitchers on per/9 training and all hitters on VIS/DISC/CLT training with extreme exceptions(ex. player with 20 durability gets put on durability training). I go through my entire roster at the start of franchise, and then set any new additions to the team during Spring Training.

      Re: Player Training

In my experience.... since they moved to a production based progression system a couple of years ago. Training has very little effect on progression unless your guy is in A ball. However, I know training does have an effect because I have forget to set training on a player one year (not training), and he regressed exponentially despite producing at the plate. Wasn’t old either and his potential was not lower than his overall

In speaking many years ago with a Dev on this subject,

I change every players training regimen at the start of each month. I do my own decision making for each player based on their ratings and where I want them to focus.

But changing it once a month is effective and works. And you can alternate just two types of training if you want. Just make sure you alternate it each month in the season.

I’m about to enter July and have been adjusting them every sunday. You think I should go to every month before I change them ?

Yes just do it once a month to maximize the effects of training in combination with player performance.

It makes dumb decisions, like having some pitchers work on their fielding instead of pitching attributes as an example.
