20 is great all around, but I still feel 16 had better hitting. The switch to new ball physics in 17 were pretty bad at first and really started to improve by 19 and again further improved in 20. The problem is with zone hitting, user input is still sometimes not what you expect on contact compared to 16. 20 beats it for fielding and defensive improvements.
Is 20 worth getting?

Totally worth it this is the first time in 5 years I’m playing a franchise due to better hitting engine it just feels realistic stepping into the box. You can get walks or work the count in comparison to previous versions. You have out all the top prospects face scans for each team and then u have a Ridin and his squad with another great full minors roster adding so much with 40-man rosters and both double- A and triple-A teams.
I have played all MLB the Show since 2009 and I’m one of the first to usually get game early and it doesn’t matter if I live in LA, NY or Rhode Island so this is my favorite game but this year is top notch.
