I think you're more likely to see more generic stadiums that have capacities of MLB ballparks instead of actual create a stadium.

At very least they should give us the ability to create stadiums like MVP Baseball did. I mean if they could do that back in 2005 they could give us a slightly updated version now.

If they aren’t willing to do that they should give us more classic stadiums or some real minor league stadiums. Enough with the boring generic fake stadiums.

If they are going to do the bare minimum and give us more generic stadiums can we at least have more than 2 Spring Training parks? That should have happened awhile ago.

Instead of a disk based creation feature, what if it's web based, similar to NCAA's teambuilder. It would then have the potential to be more in depth. While also not having to deal with HDD limitations. There are no more excuses for not having this feature. If we don't get it within the first couple years on next gen we will never get it so long as SCEA makes the game.

One issue I've thought about with everyone clamoring for the MVP Baseball like creator, especially the college one where you can move the walls and such, is that the art asset size and quality for The Show dwarf those in MVP. I imagine it would be very difficult to offer create a stadium in the HD age where all the ballparks have to look pristine with details. How would anyone match a created stadium to the ones we have already in the game?

All I ask for is one stadium that you can at least have your brand added throughout, even automatically. I'd pay $20 bucks for that, lol

Only option is to rebrand a team, unless you have the tolerance to accept another teams branding. Or use an MILB stadium with 12k fans and some with no scoreboards.

I would love to see either a ps2 Madden create a stadium or something similar to MVP 05. Neither were very complex but they were a ton of fun.

A few generic stadiums would be fine too. I actually really like some of the minor league parks on the game. If Bayfront Park were a little larger I would “move” the Rays there.

I think we'll see something. It might be more of the old school "Create from a pre-selected template" but from what we've heard from the devs the last several years is they really want to include this in some form. Hopefully they are allowed to give us the vision they have for one.

Well they could make the stadium wall and back drop options pristine. If 2k can do it MLBTS can.

I'm not saying MLBTS can't do it, but to suggest that since 2K can for basketball then MLBTS should, is comparing apples and oranges.

With a basketball arena, everything is essentially uniformed meaning the courts are the same size, the baskets are the same size, and the arena's are all relatively close in resemblance in how they are laid out.

With baseball, you have various size field dimensions, various size wall heights, various different types of pitcher's eyes, and you have to account that you have to have the stadiums "look good" in various weather conditions and day settings.

It's not a simple 2k can do this so SDS should be able to as well. Baseball stadiums are open to more options than that of an arena.

SDS made generic minor league stadiums. I'm sure they could've given us 1 generic Major League stadium with tha ability to customize colors and sponsors/logos. It's not a priority to them, though.

And I think that is what you’ll likely get instead of a create a stadium from scratch.

I think it’s fair to say we will be getting a generic relocation stadium in the future. Just how many is the question. A good Variety would help. (3 or 4 stadiums) Maybe it’s just me but an interchangeable, customizable stadium tool seems out of reach.

Also, if some type of stadium creator actually DOES come to MLBtS, then it needs to stay strictly in OFFLINE modes. If you think people take advantage of things in online, like bunts, CAP’s, certain players, etc, then wait until custom stadiums come into play. Its almost comical to think how much it would be exploited. Every single player. Either minimum fence dimensions or maximum, no if ands or buts. And people genuinely want this to come to DD!!

Personally, I would rather get maybe 10-15 more ballparks created by the dev team than a create-a-stadium because they would have more tools at their disposal to create realistic venues.


Worst case scenario, if we got a "create a stadium" feature that was very cookie-cutter and shoddy, only to have the devs see it as a reason not to work on any more minor league/fictional ballparks, I would not like that.


The scenery beyond the outfield in many stadiums are due for some significant upgrades (particularly in the minors), so hopefully that can happen on PS5.


Oh, also, I would love a "field of dreams" style diamond in a cornfield. They're actually doing that in real life, so maybe it can get in a future game!

Let's be honest here, the reason that the developers will eventually include a create-a-stadium is because of Diamond Dynasty. Hopefully they'll roll this over for the re-branding feature as well for franchise.
