    30 team trades

So I think I screwed myself. I thought I put Force trades ON but it doesn't appear to be the case. So if Force trades are off and I have 30 team control ON, if I make a lopsided trade for 1 team, it won't go through?

Say I trade Bryant to the Tigers for a 24 year old Relief pitcher rated 55 with F potential. So if I control the Tigers and I offer this trade, Cubs say we need more value, If I switch to the Cubs and offer the same trade, it says Tigers need more value. What am I doing wrong cause it is driving me crazy?

I assume most of it is an issue with budgets (even though it's not saying that).

If you want to be able to essentially make whatever trade you want, you need to have your 30 team control "ON", and budgets "OFF". There's a few other things in there, including having two profiles set up, but the budgets are the biggest thing.

At the start, before you make any moves at all, with budgets on you'll have about $10 mil that you can add to your teams payroll. Adding Bryant ($18.6 mil), won't be able to happen unless you send someone back with at least an $8.6 mil contract. Try sending Zimmerman and it *Should* work.

Alright so it sounds like with 30 team control ON I might have left Budgets ON. Meaning that I have to stay within budget or the trade gets rejected. If Budgets were off and Force trades were off, the trade would still go through since I control all 30 teams right?

One question about waivers. If I put Bryant on waivers and made sure all teams did not claim him off of waivers, he becomes a free agent right? I can sign him to my team depending on how much he wants. What happens to the money that the previous team (cubs) owes him? Do they still pay?

      Thanks Nick

If you put him on waivers, you can claim him (As long as nobody else does). You'll be in the negative, but at least you'll get him. If nobody claims him, he'll go to AAA.

If you release him outright, it'll go through the same process, and if nobody claims him, the Cubs will pay the majority of his 2020 contract. When he becomes a FA, he'll still be looking for a large payday, which you'll still have to try to maneuver into the budget.

Again, unless you have plans for Jordan Zimmerman, the easiest way around this is to try firing him off to Chicago straight up for Bryant.
