I don't usually post much but since I do play the game A LOT, I figure I chime in.

1. Better atmosphere/interaction in older ballparks. Feels kind of wooden especially when you have a classic custom roster playing in said ballparks. Compared to the regular roster/stadiums, it's a tad bit lack luster (I'm aware this probably has more to do with the rosters than anything but still). There are times if I'm playing at Shea Stadium with a classic 99 roster and if I hit a HR, it doesn't show the apple, seems generic etc. I love it regardless but it would be nice to see more interaction, if that makes any sense.

2. Customize undershirt colors when selecting uniforms. An example of this is when I want to wear the blue caps with the white 1998 alternate but the preset of the undershirts is black. Mets wore the white alternates with both blue and blue/black hats and undershirts. Would be nice to mix and match to replicate how teams did their unis back in the day and even now to an extent. Another example that comes to mind are the 2003 Reds. Their home red striped vests were worn with both red and black undershirts on occasion.

Just some stuff I thought of, nothing too major. Most of what I had thought of was already mentioned in this thread.

1. Going along with the first point quoted above, better atmosphere/interaction across the board. I'd love to see a wide range of fan and crowd noise/reaction. Think about a middle of the summer, lazy afternoon game atmosphere (where the fans are just chilling more than anything)... and then a postseason, winner take all game atmosphere (where the crowd noise is crazy loud).

2. Along with this, more eruption of emotion from the crowd after a huge go ahead homer from the home team, or big strikeout to get outta a bases loaded jam from the home team. Conversely, a sudden hush/silence if the above situations happen AGAINST the home team.

3. Also, something small that just popped into my head. I'd like to see era specific equipment such as eyeglasses/sunglasses, helmets (maybe NO helmets) that go along with the era specific uniform templates that have been mentioned.

Think about Reggie jackson in this game. He should be wearing those 70s aviator sunglasses/eyeglasses, not the modern squared ones in the game currently.

One thing I'd like to see is now that we can relocate teams, use the weather for that area. I moved Colorado into the Old Texas Stadium, tie the weather to the stadium location, not the team location. Also while I'm at it, the game on the PS5 is incredible, can't wait for 21.

Also a nitpicky thing, clean up the dirt on the bottom of the fences. Back in the 70's and 80's they didn't maintain things as well, but these days, stadiums are pretty clean. The dirt on the lower 1/4 looks bush league to me.

And of course a stadium creator would be awesome as well.

This has to be the easiest thing ever to add; an option to toggle the HR camera off and on. I really wanna know why they took this option away. Was it just to showcase the HR animations?

A few things I’d like changed/added/fixed, mostly presentation stuff.

1. Using Fast Play, when you change a pitcher, show the pitchers stats not the scouting report.
2. Also when using Fast Play, when you change a pitcher in-between innings, don’t have the manager comes out to make a pitching change cutscene. Just use the normal in-between innings cutscene.
3. When using Generated Counts, figure out a quick/easy way to allow the user to make a substitution prior to the count being generated. There are times when I want to pinch hit for example but the count generated is 3-1, and I end up just leaving the guy in. Same with pitching changes, find a way to let me make a change before the count is generated.
4. In MOM, there are times when the stat screens at the bottom overlap because they moved stat lines to the left because the MOM menu is on the right. Seems like something they just overlooked.
5. Please please please, fix the issue when scheduling a pitcher to come in the game his stamina is decreased. I know there are some workarounds, but they don’t always work. Please fix this!!!!

I’m sure there are more and most have probably been brought up in here already, but these are my wishes/pet peeves.

There's many retro uniforms I'd like to see a lot more but I would like to have each uniform in audio sync.
For instance when I picked the Saint Louis Browns uniform they introduce the pitchers name then said Baltimore Orioles.
It would have been pretty cool if they would have announced the team matching the uniform.

Just for more beautiful throwback uniforms on the PS4. The PS4 still have a bit of life left in it, more so than the PS3 back in 2014 when the PS4 took over.

Sigh, I've avoided posting here until now just because I don't want to see my heart broken and franchise not getting the updates it desperately needs (as opposed to other updates that, while nice, were uneeded). But here goes.

1. Expanded rosters: populating the positions on 3 teams with 90 players is a herculean task, especially when you start adding in injuries. Trades are also severely hampered by the limit. If it's truly impossible to have more then 90 players per team, then turning AA and below into an unplayable dumping ground like single A is now is an acceptable compromise. Disappointing, but acceptable. The simple matter is 90 spots for 3 teams is not enough.

2. Revamped progression and regression: progression in the game is actually really good, though I still wish they would rip off NHL's progression and regression systems. However, regression in this game is an awful, contradictory mess. You need to make a decision. Either make it performance based and the current contract negotiation system can stay, or obvuscate it from the player and have contract negotiations based on performance. A player should not be coming off an all star season willing to accept below average money.

While there are plenty of other changes I want, these are the two the game absolutely needs.
