I don’t know if it’s been mentioned, but the addition of the London Series and Field of Dreams Series and their respective stadiums would be a fantastic touch to franchise, RTTS, and DD.

Would love to see the London stadium. High scoring fun.

I would like to see added:

The old fashioned waxed mustache;

Jersey styles from the late 1800s including shirts with collars;

More city names from early teams: Providence, Troy

More historic team names: Greys, Beaneaters, Gothams etc.

More in depth features for online custom leagues is definitely needed.

Custom Leagues should resemble franchise mode with divisions and American/National leagues, in season scouting, offseason with draft, resignings, free agency, etc.

Real schedules with 2, 3, and 4 game series

Specific lineups need to be added vs RHP/LHP with DH and no DH

Player editing for numbers and equipment

Player progression/regression

Fatigue for Position Players and realistic injuries

Stats - League leaders and awards, historical stats tracking as the custom league progresses from each season

Players retiring and getting inducted into the HOF or becoming coaches, scouts, and/or managers

Fantasy Drafts

Farm Systems

Custom Rosters

I want a Franchise Mode That includes any size league to cover any Season.
The ability to insert single teams.
The ability to import players anytime during a franchise.
The ability to record player names. Im tired of hearing Darryl Stansbury!!!
A uniform Vault!
A Better Player Editor. That grid stick is frustrating!
Create A Stadium.
More Team Locations and Names.
And Why??? WHY when I run a franchise does the AI change my rosters EVEN when I Have Manual Control ON. Why???
Sometimes I enjoy manager mode! How about a floating camera placed anywhere!
Hopefully the next gen incorporates player collisions and bag overslides.

Didn't read the whole thread but I'd like low level ml teams in RTTS. Seems funny to start in AA at 18, or even the ML at 18. So I've been going back to Bowman Scout day a couple more times and generally start when I'm 20, though I rather not do that.

I don't mind of I need to stay in the minors a few years.

On a side note: I once got benched for talking back to the manager in AA - next day I'm in the pros.

1. Custom season length, stop making us play 162 and it’s a huge miss that they didn’t add it into a patch for the 60 game season.

2. Old school teams full roster. NBA 2k does it snd it’s a huge hit.

3. Better movement on 2 seamers and Sinkers.

I'd like for the camera to always pull back wide when someone is try to steal a base. Ideally the camera would be offset to left or right depending on if they are trying to steal second or third. Keeps the runner and catcher in screen but still looks broadcast like. They don't always yell steal/runner and that slight zoom to indicate a steal isn't the best IMO. Being a clean screen guy I don't have the luxury of having the runner windows on so I think t would be a welcome addition.

In Batting Practice, give us more control over what we want to lab. Above all, what I’d like to lab is recognizing a changeup vs a fastball. Why not give us the option to choose which pitches we’ll face? I’m in my 3rd minor league season in RTTS and I still only see fastballs in BP. I get next to nothing out of it.
Also, having Bat Control be one of the 3 options for BP seems strange. That’s not near as important as pitch recognition and timing.
RTTS
Most American players don’t start their first full minor league season until they’re 19. They’re drafted at 18, play a half season of rookie league, then start their first full season at 19.
If you choose to go to college, it should either be University (3 years) or JUCO (2 years).
Don’t give my RTTS 2 plusses to Arm Strength for flipping the ball 5 feet to the second baseman on a double play.
Give him 2 plusses to arm strength when he goes into the hole and throws a runner out at first base.

Women’s softball would be cool if it was its own game—-not as an add on to MLB....

How it is played is too it’s own thing—and that is what is great about it...it would be a better fit as add on to an asian style baseball game (slap hitting, constant chanting, etc)...Still, would be great if it was own game with femme body types, etc...Think of all the accessorizing (excesses) $ SD would make in DD—ha

1)Add customizable (or overall) field surface deterioration or variations in whatever spots user chose:
-Either general wear and tear as season went along across entire field surface I.e, (natural) yellowing of grass, dirt spots, torn up artificial surfaces OR only in specific areas of field
-Make all the above editable for all stadiums (want to make the infield grass longer to help slow fielders-done; want to recreate KC’s 1970s fast artificial surface-done; want to recreate Oakland/Baltimore’s torn up outfield grass in the fall—done; want to put a load of rocky dirt in a specific spot in front of 3rd base for a poor fielding slugger on visiting team right before a big inter-divisional series (when you have a gold glover)-done.

2) Give user editable manager personalities for all teams
-hit/run, bunting, very aggressive on bases Vs power 3-run homer types on offense (Whitey Herzog-Chuck Tanner Vs Earl Weaver)
-pitchers go for the strike outs Or pitch to contact....basically steal all the best ideas from OOTP and like games

3) As some others have mentioned: add the OPTION to see the catcher throw the ball back to pitcher between pitches—immersion is necessary for continued interest

4) Give user OPTION to set the way baserunning works:
- auto (works based ratings only & pre-game Managerial settings per player Never Steal VS ((Ricky Henderson/Lou Brock/Ty Cobb type)) Steeal AT WILL) which user can override in specific situations
-manual (works as it does currently where user has to lead off/steal while batting)
-semi-automatically (where user gives the baserunner(s) signal to steal (or not), hit & run, etc BEFORE THE PITCH and then their success/failure is dictated by ratings)...they could even add MISSed signals based on how well player is rated in this area

I’m sorry if any of these are repeats, I haven’t read everything.

1. MLB.com integration: maybe they can do something like have the night before or previous week’s highlights from actual MLB games played out on The Show. Maybe it’s just the most important highlight of the game but seeing it translated to the game would be cool. They do it for commercials etc.

2. One of the old Madden games had a way for you to watch other games highlights while in your own game. It would break away from your game to show you the last second field goal attempt or something. If I’m in a pennant stretch I’d like to see how my rivals are doing in the 9th. Did that guy leave the bases loaded meaning if I win today I’m in first?

3. Franchise. Just fix it. Trades, money, revenue, player integration...all of it. I only play franchise and I think it’s good, it’s just been the same for a while.

Give me two things please:

1. Generic stadiums that reflect the history of baseball

Chocolate Box: Just a diamond shaped stadium that has quirky walls and beam posts in the outfield bleachers...Model it after Ebbets or Tiger doesn’t matter

Stadium: Just a big cavernous 45-60K capacity stadium with big old bleacher seats model it after Cleveland, Arlington, County

Cookie Cutter: Just a big circle enclosed with with the bleacher starting 10 feet above the outfield wall and make it turf

Dome: Again just a generic domed stadium but unlike cookie cutter add some quirky wall dimensions like the Kingdome

And give me an old Fenway no Monster seats just a net and Old Yankee Stadium before the 70’s renovation

2. Either a season or postseason mode that can be edited...If your going to let me crest historic rosters let me edit the season or postseason to reflect the historic rosters...Let me play a 154-162 season with no divisions or let me play a postseason with 4 teams like 1969-1993 or 8 teams pre WC game...And let me switch teams around...The Astros were in the NL 50
years let me put them there same with the Brew Crew in the AL

Really hoping next year I can actually create a utility type player (ex: Kike Hernandez)

So frustrating that I cannot create a player that can play 2B, SS, 3B and the outfield (ex: Tommy Edman)

I see there is a uniform wishlist, but no general wishlist for 21.

Seeing as it will be next gen, hopefully a lot of things can be added that were not possible during this generation due to memory allocation or hardware limitations.

Just a few things on top of my head.

1. Improvements to franchise, including expansion teams instead of just replacement, and relocation options after each year. Similar to NBA 2k's franchise mode.

2. Added vault slot for created teams, for sharing and downloading. An area outside of any mode to create teams and save them would be nice to, instead of having to enter franchise mode.

3. More slider options to tweak gameplay. With more increments, 20 instead of the current 10 for example.

4. Larger uniform selection for each team. Including time period specific uniforms, longer sleeved baggy uniforms from the 1910's for example. That can be matched with legend player and old school rosters from the vault.

5. Improvements to the gameplay against CPU. Including hitting and run production without them being impossible to strikeout. (Maybe new slider options will be able to remedied this issue if not default)

6. Season mode or at the very least the option to change franchise season length and playoff series lengths.

7. Playoff mode expanded upon, with the ability to change the format or add more teams. 8 from each league for example.

8. With the game going multiplatform, I hope to see it come to the PC. For the mods alone this would be amazing.

Don't look for any drastic changes in MLB 21. The PS5 will only have beennputnfor a few months. Watch for big changes in MLB 22.
