This isn't just for reporting bugs as there is a also a feedback option which I've personally used several times that has resulted in a dialogue with the team.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Re: MLB The Show 20: Update 1.13 Includes Expanded Hitting Feedback System
I kinda have to laugh...
I use the button hitting and never hit for power or contact - just use the "x" button...
So in essence, I'm just timing up my visual senses, to my hands pressing down the x button, or not (on a check swing attempt) - and then just recognizing the pitch speed and type.
Now, all of this new information on launch angle and exit velocity is nice in this new update - but it's a LOT of stuff to take in...but the bottom line is that all I'm doing is hitting a button.
And again, that just kinda makes me laugh.STEELERS INDIANS CELTICS

Re: MLB The Show 20: Update 1.13 Includes Expanded Hitting Feedback System
I'm confused about when ALL the information will show on the screen... I've been testing it out in custom practice.. there have been more than a few home runs that havent shown the launch angle or exit velo.. I'm assuming since it showed the timing as good that maybe the idea is that the launch angle and exit velo isn't needed but then there have been plenty of fly balls that did show ALL the info (these are on good timing swings as well) so at this point I'm asking if this is normal or if I'm just blind and didnt read the patch notes correctlyComment

Play a game and it works like it's designed to. Although, as I mentioned before, it won't show full information for a 3rd out.Comment

Press pause after it resets to the next batter and it will show up.Comment

Not a fan of this. Too much clutter for my taste.

Anyone else notice after the update in franchise mode doesn’t show homerun distances? Also, when a new pitcher enters the game, it doesn’t show their stats. The screen just shows a black box where their stats typically are.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 20: Update 1.13 Includes Expanded Hitting Feedback System
Seems to me, no matter what game it is, every update fixes some things but breaks others. Even things that shouldn't have any relation to what they fix still manage to get broken.
I'm at the point where any update that drops in any game makes me cringe. At least with PC games I can save the exe files so I can overwrite updated ones if needed.Comment

I haven't seen anything different playing now than I did previously aside from the new look of the hitting feedback.
I know there was mention of better plays by the outfielders against the wall, but so far I haven't seen, or noticed, anything different in that regard. But then again, I haven't seen that many plays near the wall since the patch.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

What did this patch break?

I see nothing negative in terms of new bugs. Nada so far.
