    Help with grounders

Not sure if there is an answer, but I use Armor's sliders (exact), with the exception of hitting view (MLB 15). I see a ton of random hits, BUT my outs never seem to come via the groundout. (so many fly outs)

Any ideas on how to get the user to hit more groundballs?
I use direction hitting and NEVER touch the stick to influence the swing.

    Thanks in advance

Thanks Josh I enjoy your streams. I guess what I was getting at was i wish the engine would generate more ground ball outs instead of so many fly outs (without me intentionally pushing down on the stick).

Maybe the game is intentionally doing it with today's players all so focused on hitting bombs and worried about swing paths etc.

But it's NOT just pushing down on the stick. Changing the directional input changes the bat plane which stimulates the variety.

This is totally my bad..I am not explaining this correctly. I am a direction hitting guy BUT never ever use the stick to hit (just press the swing button).

Based on that, I just wish the hitting engine would product more ground ball outs and less fly ball outs.

I didn't know if my hitting view plays a role in those outcomes or perhaps sliders (though I doubt it).

I know what you're saying and I'm saying that NOT using the stick is a good chunk of your issue.

Directional input when using the stick changes the dynamics of the game entirely. It changes not only the bat plane (up/down) but also the rough area of where the bat head passes through the zone. By never influencing it, you're limiting your possible number of outcomes (which in turn reduces the numbers of poor contact hits, which turn into those ground balls you're asking about).

If you're using ANY 2020 roster, that's issue number 2...
