    2D ball?

Hey all. With some extra time in quarantine I decided to splurge and returned to the game after many years (think '14 was the last iteration I had purchased). Has the presentation changed in that the ball appears highlighted or glowing when pitched, that is it's just a plain 2D bright white circle, no stitching. This is only when you are batting, when pitching it reverts back to a 3D ball with shadows. I don't recall it looking like this in the edition I last played five years ago. Am I missing some option/setting that can be turned off? Forgive my ignorance on this as like I said, it's been a while since I picked up a virtual bat! Thanks -

Well, it's not 2D as it's still an object in a 3D environment, and a trip around the baseball in replay mode will verify that it's a sphere. But as far as identifying it from an actual batting camera goes, the easiest way to tell is to identify the seams spinning as the ball comes in. They show up fine for me, although I think they're a bit more visible in the super-zoomed in Strike Zone cams that are something of a forbidden topic around here...lol.

Hard to see as it's right at the dirt line, but the ball's shadow's there too. And in real time those seams are spinning.
