    Here’s a Baseball Question

I’m currently doing the Orioles franchise and the last two games I’ve played against the white sox I have scored a lot of runs, 15 the first game and 19 the second (believe me, this is a fluke)

Now, the first game I’m up 15 - 3 in the 9th and I decided to put a position player to pitch, and got a scoreless inning (yes I know your not supposed to IRL because of the unwritten rules, but my bullpen reallyyyyyyy needed a day off)

The second game, same thing.. I’m up 19-7 in the 8th with two outs.. and again decided to bring a position player to pitch, he got the out in the 8th.. he got the 3 outs in the 9th but allowed 4 runs in the process.

Now the question is: These performances by my position players pitching affect my team ERA directly? I ask since they don’t show up in the box score.

Runs given up during innings played are runs given up during innings played. Baseball boxscores are like an accounting leger. Every event in the game has a stat that has to be accounted for.

Yes, just like the stats created by any player no longer on the team will still be in the team totals.
