Re: Rating question
Just how good is Mike Trout, really? Who are the five best starting pitchers in baseball? If you had to put a number on Aaron Judge's power, between 1 and 99, what would you come up with? It's the sort of stuff that late-night dorm-room debates are made of --
TLDR: 60 is "league-average" (which I assume to be major-league average), although I don't know whether they're using the 99 or 125 point scale as a base for that. It seems like that refers to individual ratings and not overall. -
Re: Rating question
On an MLB roster I would say that the overall would be around 75-82. As for individual ratings 50-65 seem to be what most those guys have, they may have an attribute or two that touch 70-80. But for the most part that’s what I’ve seen in my franchise for average players. I’m also 10 years in on a franchise that I started on The Show 15. So my average could be a little different.

Re: Rating question
The average mlb attribute rating for a hitter should be 62 which would translate to around a 73 overall. Similar for a pitcher.
Definitely not close to 80 overall. That is the downside to a lot of rosters and what creates the imbalance later.
I edit the FM rosters to have the average potential be a 76. Really makes a difference in the long run.Last edited by Funkycorm; 07-17-2020, 07:22 PM.Funkycorm
