as this is primarily the way Franchise mode brings in extra revenue, I highly encourage every ‘‘franchise guy’’ to spend a little $ there, whether they need the boost or even wind up not actually using them.

also, we have a saying here in SEC country: ‘‘if you ain't cheatin', you ain't tryin'.’’

Was about to answer something like THIS : it’s a good little investment the team can spend on development of a Diamond Dynasty Bob Sponge theme Bat skin or Batman batting gloves

yeah, it would be nice if in the PS5 Show era if we could spend stubs on stadium upgrades, even if maybe it's stuff we wouldn't necessarily see, like game monitors in the rest rooms or ergonomically designed seats or if the concession stands come standard equipped with hotdogs and soda but you can upgrade to offer stuff like jellied moose nose and yak butter tea, or upgrade our parking lot to wider car spaces. these guys at the Studio gonna have to think outside the batter's box and get creative when the PS5 gets here. and that era is just around the corner. I like to jab a little about the PS4, ‘‘greatness still awaits’’, hopefully it arrives come PS5

At the end of every season, last week of it, I pour all my stubs into franchise budget and put it in my account. If it's in the game it is not cheating.

Play how you want. That's my take on it.

Still trying to find an answer to this - how much impact does this actually have on your budget for next year? If I finish with $500m in the bank, will I have a crazy high budget or will I be limited by other factors?

From what I can gather and have done. Every $20M excess over the 5m to start gets you roughly an extra 1m per week.

So for example: I had excess of 140m at the end of the 2026 season. During that off season I had roughly $7m in cash flow per week.

Sorry at work so I can't screen shot anything. But it really adds up as being able to spend a lot during the off-season.

Is it cheating to purchase amounts from the Play Store to add to your bank funds to be used in your franchise? I assume that each franchise remains at the opening standard of $5 and that can be increased through sponsorships.

Also - in regards to sponsorships - is it cheating to purchase sponsorships through Play Store money? The CPU doesn’t have this benefit as I assume their’s are achieved through good performance.

Can someone please clarify this to me. I’m in season 2 of my Yankees franchise & had thought that I may be taking advantage of the league as I have purchased 3 sponsorships (All Diamonds) & have poured money into my bank account.

I am doing the same thing. For the first time ever, I am about to finished a season by playing all 162 + 1(tie-breaker). I am going to continue my Braves carry-over from 19'. I want to go after 3B Arenado and resigned 1B Freeman in 20.

What made it possible to get more funds to increase my budgets. Was acquiring and selling those topp cards... So do you!!!

Someone may have already replied something similar, but I use 30 team control, and apply sponsorships to most teams...the value of those depend on the market size for the team in question.

Examples:
-Teams like NYY, LAD, BOS, get all three slots filled with good sponsorship's.
-Smaller market teams like TB, MIA, etc. get one decent sponsorship.

From my experience, when you don't put any, teams will reduce their payrolls on a much more regular basis, whereas if you use it, most teams will grow a bit.

It's really user preference. With so many options on how you want to run a franchise, it's nice to have your own house rules to play by though, since it's pretty easy to cheat the CPU.

How far are you into your second year. You can stop using and/or change sponsors up until the end of May I believe.

I’m in August and doing very well with 74 wins - both Stanton - Torres & Sanchez are 1..2 & 4 respectively in the home run title - Judge has been injured a majority of the year - the sad thing about it Torres is on pace to perhaps be a Triple Crown winner - the guy is an absolute stud in The Show!

Ah ok. I'd hate to be that far in and start over. Since your heading to year 3. For storyline purposes and to help feeling like you had an unfair adavantage you could just consider the sponsorships as part of multi year deal that fell apart do to some scandal or something.
