    ORIOLES OR TIGERS?

    Community -

Trying to decide on which franchise to choose: Orioles or Tigers?

Tigers have an incredible up and coming pitching staff but horrendous offense

Orioles have pretty much horrendous everything but have a talented prospect in Adley Rutschman.

Would love to hear your thoughts...or if another team is the way to go...would love to hear that too...I’m a die hard Yankee fan but just looking a different type of challenge

I'm biased towards Baltimore but if you're a Yankees fan, you might not want to play in the same division. if you can look past playing NY then I'd go with the O's. this year I've loved growing Means even further and Hanser Alberto has quickly become one of my favorite Show players after I moved him from 3rd to 2nd. the bullpen is a mess and the outfield provides huge challenges as well though Santander is a bright spot

I could foresee that being a challenge - playing with the Orioles in the same division as the Yankees - Definitely would have to fight the urge to not jump ship!

I did a franchise with both in MLB 20, and I gotta say, playing with the O's was NO fun. That team is just god awful at everything. At least with the Tigers, the pitching was already kinda there so I just had to work on bolstering the offense. In Baltimore, not only was I not hitting anything, my pitchers couldn't hit the broad side of a barn door from 6 paces.

          Tigers all the way.

I hate Fenway (in game only and not the aesthetics, just playing there) so in the AL Central you minimize your time playing there.

My sentiment are the same towards Fenway and Red Sox in general

I love going to Fenway to bat, rare chance to pad my offensive stats lol I might not win but I'm damn sure gonna be scoring

I've already jumped back and forth between the Tigers and Baltimore.

As mentioned, Tigers pitching prospects are A or high B, facescans
Their hitting prospects are minimal, use RidinRosters and you'll at least get this years draft picks. Rebranding is fun with the Tigers, check out my logos @ smonee64 in the vault.

Baltimore is loaded with young C potential or low B hitters between 24-26, a good base to build around. Adly and Mountcastle are solid future stars.
Pitching is awful, a lot of bad contracts. Solid pitching prospects that need development.

I'm stuck between the two, I'd say Tigers due to the weaker system and highest level of rebuilding skill.

                  Re: ORIOLES OR TIGERS?

                  Guys -

Thank you so much for all of your comments and suggestions - I really appreciate it - I’m new to The Show and had been wrestling back and forth with what franchise to choose - this community of The Show players are very insightful and passionate about baseball - which is an awesome thing to see!

I know the title of this thread is - Orioles or Tigers? I have been going back and forth weighing out everything - Rosters - Farm Systems - Sponsorships which I am using the ones that are suggested in Armor & Swords slider thread - and this was a tough decision - I am a loyal person by nature and because of this - picking franchises that are not my favorite team - albeit Madden - 2K or The Show - tends to leave me in a wrestling match of decisions - SO - I have decided the team that I am going to choose is the Miami Marlins - it helps me to maintain the interest in the Yankees due to my favorite player - Don Mattingly being their manager and Jeter being a primary owner - they only have one sponsorship in the game - have a ton of young talent and have only been to the playoffs twice in their franchise history

I’m excited to finally begin and feel confident in my decision - once again - thank you guys so much!
