    Errors that are ruled hits

I'm not exactly sure at what point I started noticing this, but after one of the recent patches I'm seeing ground balls that are booted by the cpu and human ruled hits. We have been discussing in the Q and A.

    Countryboy had this example

Here's an example of one I've had

Is anyone else seeing this and what triggers it?

I'm more upset about Happ getting that 50/50 call for the K on baby Vlad...is that Angel Hernandez back there umping, or what?!?!?

But yes, I've noticed it a handful of times. Nothing as egregious as that though...Mine have been similar to CB's, where I can sit and say "Hmmm, I guess that could be considered a hit...", though I had a similar play last night where Altuve was rightly given the error.

I sent these to a buddy of mine telling him that Hernandez must be behind the plate. All these were called balls in the same game. I, much like the blue, had no clue where the zone was

I'm wondering if your rightful error was with the feet stationary? Seems to be when there is movement side to side and that animation is triggered.

It’s one thing for an ump to have a strike zone but some of the real life ones these days are all over the place. It’s like a random strike zone.

Now here is an error recorded correctly.

Difference with this one versus the other one, is that Moncada is in front of the ball in ideal fielding position when he bobbles it.

I'm thinking it has to do with the fielder going into a backhand or stretching animation that is causing it to register as a hit versus an error.

I agree with the feet planted works, when moving ruled a hit.

It's the only thing I can figure out thus far.

Whats bad is the commentary supports it being ruled an error, but the scoring decision not so much.

Ive been seeing this issue for a while now, so I dont think it was anything this recent patch caused. I cant remember exactly when I really started noticing it to be a issue, but I was seeing some questionable base hits, that I felt should have been errors from day 1. At 1st I didnt think much about it, because now days, you see some flubs, IRL, that end up not being called errors as they should. But after a while, I started thinking it was a flaw in the game. I really hope it gets fixed, as it is annoying.
