    Edit Player Salary in Franchise

Halfway through the season in my 30-team Franchise Mode, I noticed that the roster I used has Jake Croenworth at a 30mil/year salary. This is making it impossible for me to complete trades like the Mitch Moreland one to bring the Padres roster up to date. Is it possible for me to fix this while the season is in progress? When I go to edit player, this part is greyed out.

Thanks in advance if anyone has any suggestions.

You can't edit a player's salary inside franchise mode.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Thanks. So my best bet then is to probably cut him and force a big $ team to pick him up.

You would be on the hook for a portion of his previous salary as well as the new salary. However that might not be a huge deal in The Show. I play fairly religiously and still have no idea how the budget system works.

that's what I was thinking. I seem to remember doing this with Chris Davis in 19 and wound up saving millions of $. might of been an exploit of sorts but my storyline was that I was just the shrewdest GM since Branch Rickey
