So here's what happened. Alvarez hits a deep fly to LF. The ball hits on top of the LF wall, past the yellow line. Somehow it was not a HR. What happened instead, the ball bounced back into the field of play. Why this wasn't a HR is beyond me, but past that, what kind of physics say a line drive headed in one direction will hit a flat top of a wall then reverse course? The invisible wall? Anyway, that non HR cost us the game.
Well, except for two plays that should have been outs but for some reason the fielders decided to throw a soft underhand toss to the firstbaseman which allowed the runner to be safe. That's the first time I've seen that but then it happened in back to back innings. Are they still messing with fielding?
