When does the price of The Show usually drop low?

Hi everyone -- Due to the financial hit so many of us (myself included) had to take this year due to COVID19, I didn't get MLB 20. I've been pretty happily playing MLB 19 on my PS4. I've been playing the same franchise for several years now, so I know I will need to get MLB 20 at some point, just to carryover my franchise while I wait to see what the future years (and new consoles) bring. I checked a couple of stores, and I see that the price is pretty close to what it was when the game was released (for instance, it was $54.99) at my local Wal-Fart.

Does anyone have any recollection on around when the price starts to drop to bargain price levels? Any intel on approximately how low they sometimes go? Thanks in advance!

If you get on the Playstation Store, it's currently 23.99 until October 1st. Just picked it up myself after not having a MLB title since 15 and I am over the moon with it.

I think that’s the price if you are ps plus member. It’s showing $41.99 for me.

Same, just grabbed it yesterday, I typically don't play baseball games often but 20 seems to be packed with a lot of good stuff. I used to play Tony LaRussa, Tommy LaSorda and NES baseball games back in the 90s, was a huge fan of franchise, picking up players from minors and developing pitchers and such and MLB 20 looks like it's up my alley for that.
