    Quick tips

Just picked up MLB 20 for the heck of it and was wondering if there’s a good guide someone can direct me to or just some quick tips. I’ve never actually played the game before and will be diving into franchise and rtts.

Basically I haven’t followed baseball in awhile.. I played into my teenage years but that’s it. I don’t know much of the in’s and outs for managing a roster or what to look for in player ratings. So reading the board has me a little overwhelmed. Lol

Any general things that always seem to need adjusting within sliders, settings, etc?

    Thanks in advance.

I've written a couple of guides, you can check them out below.

    https://forums.operationsports.com/f...ing-guide.html

My Directional hitting guide is in desperate need of editing/updating, but the basic concepts still hold true.

My contract and roster management guide is much newer and up to date.

You can also check out the sliders sub forum here: https://forums.operationsports.com/f...-show-sliders/

There are a few slider makers who have been at this longer than I have, and I don't go full simulation with my sliders. I do however have a breakdown of what my testing has shown as to what each slider actually does.

Enjoy and welcome to the Show!

since adjusting sliders is dependent on individual user skill, there isn't a OSFA. most people will fit into the default slider set but if you don't, it's been my experience Dynamic Difficulty can reduce the time searching for the perfect slider combination drastically. I play with dynamic difficulty on but I still found I preferred some of the sliders tweaked slightly anyways.
