Thats the entire point of adding the DH to the NL. When the NL plays in an AL park, the NL is at a disadvantage because they cant plan to roster a DH player because they need everyone to at least be a capable fielder. Vice versa in an NL park but less so because almost all pitchers are trash hitters no matter what.

But for NL vs NL, it benefits a lot of teams while not giving anyone an unfair advantage over another.

IMO, the only possible argument for no DH is "theres extra strategy" that comes into play once every what, 5-10 games? And even then its a negative because you pinch hit a guy for one AB, where he has probably a 30% chance of just getting on base, while simultaneously depleting your bench AND possibly bullpen too if it goes into multiple extra innings.

I probably already intentionally walk too many batters when I play as Baltimore, not so much as Atlanta. but the most immediate impact a DH in the NL on me is I expect my NL IBB's to go through the roof

You can throw the strategy book out the window. Obviously, the use of the DH in the NL has uniformized how teams handled pitchers this year in both leagues. Advanced stats are now running the show, and not having to worry about pinch hitting for pitchers has allowed all managers to focus mainly on the pitching matchups (oh no, I have to replace my pitcher who's dominating because it's the third time through the lineup).

I don't have as much a problem with the universal DH, expanded playoffs and new extra-innings rules than with those stats-driven only decisions that are taking the human factor out of the game. And I'm a stats guy.

I'd love the ability to make certain rule changes in the offseason similar to what NBA2K offers

Especially if it allows to revert to pre-Manfred rules (ex. no three-batter minimum).
