I am wanting to start a franchise with the Angels

and the major question I have is I want to use Otani as a P/DH where whe he is not pitching and my questions are?
1) can you do this?
2) how would you manage to keep his stamina from running out to fast?

1) You would need to start with a roster that has him as a pitcher.
2) Max out durability for sure and maybe increase his stamina.

and, maybe on days Ohtani pitches, uptick a couple notches the Starting Pitcher Stamina slider also too as well

I would like to start a franchise with the California Angels as well but their 1994 Road caps/helmets are wrong. Hopefully they're fixed in 21 and they add the 1995 alternate also for the PS4.


I would love to do a franchise with the Pittsburgh Pirates but they are missing their 1979 Black Top/Yellow Trousers/Yellow Cap combination from their 70's set. One can hope they get added for the PS4 next year in 21.

You really don’t need to post this complaint dozens of times in multiple threads. Broken records aren’t fun to listen to.

As much as I want SDS to fix it, an incorrect road hat brim color doesn’t stop you from starting a franchise.

Once Ohtani got moved to RF we don’t have any choice of using him as two way player right? At least when he was a pitcher on SDS’ roster you could use him both ways but now any time I put him in to pinch hit for a pitcher I have to take him out. This can’t be fixed can it?

part of the problem is everyday position players don't have pitching attributes. it would be nice if there was a third slot available after primary and secondary position where just Pitcher was able to select. and when that third option is clicked ON, pitching attributes are available to adjust. much the same way where the only way to adjust the Blocking attribute is to have Catcher as the primary position

I am pretty pissed off with this I was using the original roster with him as a pitcher now updating my roster for 2021 season and see he is now a RF and you can't export the pitching one. unless you use a year old roster

NOT happy now I can't even use him as a pitcher EVER or get any useless two way player icon. at least before as a pitcher he could be in the lineup, this was pathetic to change this they keep screwing up Ohtani in 3 years can't get it right now. and it';s ruined my new roster

I think the Studio is finding out two-way players is proving to be as difficult to properly implement as revolving schedules

They should have just kept it how it was you could have him in rotation and actually pitch and have both stats I have no
Idea why they decided to ruin it and change it. The only issue was he counted as a pitcher on roster spot.

You can’t even use him as a pitcher now at all to even try and get a useless two way festure.

Maybe someone created him as a pitcher and that might be the work around as we can’t export him but then we lose audio ect.
