I use default sliders and I agree. I started out adjusting injuries down but moved it back to default.

Yeah it’s definitely the greatest baseball series and any one game of the last 10 years can be considered the best baseball game ever imo. Before the Show came along some baseball games were really good but they all had some kind of issue or style that bugged me. The first game I loved that felt like real baseball was World Series Baseball 95 on the Sega Genesis. God I loved that game as a kid, played it many nights, couldn’t get enough of it.

Then 3D baseball games started hitting the scene but they never felt like real baseball, always felt too fast and arcade like (but they were fun). Then I remember when MVP ended and I finally gave in and gave MLB 2006 a twirl and I was blown away by the realism. I loved 06 The Show and then 07 The Show was my favorite game since WSB 95.

I’ll tell you, The Show series really got the realism right with the little things. It was amazing to see the runner run past 1st base, and all the animations and cutscenes . In 2006 and 7 the games were on a whole new level and they’ve been improving ever since.

yeah, I've currently been back on a 14 kick for a long while now and truth be told I'm probably more in to it now than when it released. when it released I was still heavy on NCAAF 14. if Show 14 (ps4 version) had a true SotS and classic stadiums plus 1 or 2 other minor aggravations ironed out, I could play 14 until the beginning of the impending zombie apocalypse lol

After reading this I jumped online and bought The Show 14. I have all of them for the PS4 except this one, but I used to have it for the PS3. I’m hoping 14 has things that have since been cut like low fielding camera and the foul ball camera (the quick cut).

MK is/was/always-will-be great. close to the same for Genesis.
but for their Saturn or Dreamcast, I don't think much of. I do however wish they'd reboot as a home console maker.
they could start with Genesis II, or, Genesis Revelation: the Final Chapter ,
and reaquire their old World Series 2k title back from 2k.
I love me some Show, but I really need multiple baseball video games
and RBI isn't Really Bringing It.

baseball is my personal favorite type video game to play but I'll go with Pac-Man for Best Video Game All-Time, with Super Mario Bros. averyclosesecond. honorable mention to GTA's III & IV

what is great about the Show for me is I can still play any Show from 09 to 19 and still enjoy as much as the last incarnation of 20. looking forward to the next 10 years of what the Show brings to the table

Ms. Pacman is the greatest game of all time I agree! It's the game that got me hooked on video games at a young age.

The Show and NBA 2K are the only video games I play anymore, this years iteration of the show is probably one of the best gameplay sports titles I’ve ever played no question…… if the graphics and FPS get a little more next gen for 22 it’s gonna be unbelievable

Cryuff, I so love the enthusiasm. What entertainment you got and I would like to calculate the cost per hour you received playing an entire 162 (an achievement I have yet to reach). Go to a movie, go to a game, etc. and poof it's over yet you spend almost the amount you spent on a copy of the game. MLBTS 'insert year gobbles up so much of my discretionary time but then leads to research, youtube videos, and books on baseball.

Dare I say MLB The Show is becoming iconic!

I am a huge sports fan and this is the first year that I’ve played MLB the Show and I agree with the OP! I love how there are many different outcomes to games and situations… just like in real life baseball. Excellent video game! FYI, I play on All star with default sliders.

Bingo!!! The amount of hours I have logged playing MLB the Show for the past decade and half is probably the greatest return on investment in entertainment I have ever made. Bar none.

And it is still going......GOAT sports game.

I actually figured this out with '18 and it came out to a little over $0.03 an hour!! '18 is my only platinum and I about my favorite of the series.
