In-game schedules for MLB 21.

I’d be surprised if the 2021 MLB season starts on time and has a full 162 game schedule. And to be honest, I’ve been so disinterested in sports in general because of all of the political nonsense, that I really don’t even care. However, what I do care about is baseball video gaming. So I’m hoping that, despite what happens in the real world, we will have full 162 game seasons along with stadium crowds. I am not interested in playing The Show with an employ stadium and shortened schedules.

And furthermore, if we’ve learned anything about franchise mode in the last 10-15 years? It’s that developers don’t care about it. So if The Show includes a shortened season due to Covid to reflect real life, I’ll go ahead and predict that every season after the first one will also be shortened. And that will do me in for MLB 21.

Obviously I hope this is not the case, but I’m curious if the developers have spoken about this.

Here's the thing, MLB already released their schedules for 2021 so I would think that The Show would implement that schedule regardless if the season is shortened. The Play Now mode with live rosters and schedules is for those who want to follow the season how it is. There is literally no reason for SDS to not use the schedule that has already been released for all MLB teams.

I agree I completely lost interest this year in baseball 60 game season to me was a fake season, it is lucky the Dodgers one because had the Rays won it would have been a asterisks as the short season winners. when you got a 60 game season and 8 team playoffs and teams making it under 500 it just was a season that I had no interest in at all, to me my real season was the game which is still going from march 13 I went from depressed to no baseball to the point in July when I gave up and couldn't care less about a season this year

Who know whats happening next year America is a mess over there I am in Australia and we are pretty much Covid free like NZ and life as normal right now. as it can be only quartime overseas cases Guess it all depends if Spring training will start at the end of Feb then that will tell us what will happen. American are relying on the miracle vaccine but they need a hell of a lot more then that to be better again. 2021 will be even more harder then 2020 (tired of the 2020 memes )

It really is past time to give us settings to create our own schedules, like NBA 2K next gen has done in a way. With abilities to set numbers of teams, season length, etc. Give gamers tools to fix things ourselves if need be.

MLB '21 will have 162 game schedules based on the 162 game schedule that has been released by the MLB for the 2021 season.

I assume we’ll be playing the same Inter League schedule year after year as per usual as well.

exactly remember march 13 "season will start in April 9' then it was may in Arizona then it was by June life will be normal again, then it was not happening then we had fights then we had a 60 game season in July.

You can't make any plans ever for anything 2020 has teached us all this I don't trust any plans or season start till the day it starts.

as for the game who knows I hope they ignore all that crap I am tired of TV shows now going the corvid storylines as well. we all watch tv and play video games to get away from reality
