    Hitting camera

Hey y’all love this game! But I recently just started playing again and having trouble hitting because of my 3 month hiatus from MLB 20. Might experiment with a new hitting camera. Currently use retro and had success with this one in the past just looking for other suggestions?

I've been using fisheye for as long as I can remember, also done some experimenting with strike zone in the past and can see it being helpful.

I've been using WIDE for as long as I can remember. Never tried others as this view has always worked for me.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I like the look of this. Can you walk me through the steps to get it? Looks awesome.

I went from retro to The Show 16 years ago and never looked back.

How would you even be able to judge pitches that way???

Looks awesome but highly impractical unless playing at lower levels.

I use WIDE and I haven't changed from that camera for at least a year. But you really have to experiment and find what works. And usually it takes at least a few games to know for sure if a camera works for you or not.

Fisheye 2 gets my vote as well.

I used MLB 16 and wide for a long time. Recently I switched to fisheye2 and while I hate the concept of the fisheye in general, it really helps me to track the ball coming in from the pitcher, in both distance from the plate and location ( high or low ).

I tweak Wide. My personal wish is to get a dynamic camera that makes it harder to pick up a pitch based on the batter's vision, like my example here:

What you see from Dee Gordon is the closest to what I personally use.

Not a fan of the fisheye cameras. They may help with ball-tracking, but personally they're not visually appealing for me at all. I think MLB 2K10 was the first to begin this, and then The Show adopted it. Again, just not a fan in general.

Actually, ASB 05 started the fish eye cam.

                            Interesting, I don't recall.

At least, I don't recall it being a default camera. The way that MLB 2K10 started it, there is a lot of floor (dirt behind home plate) and you can see foul pole to foul pole, and it was the default camera. I think that 2K10 at least began the trend of it, as they stuck to it and The Show later adopted it in this same way.

Hey guys... yeah I don’t use it much but it is a cool perspective. And for the life of me I can’t remember what base can I used to create it since I don’t have the game installed anymore. 😕
